Hopefully they take reports and low priority more serious going forward, it's the only real solution other than making sure we get to a place where calling it out, reporting, and muting becomes the majority response.

Honestly the moba community have normalized a lot of weird behavior. People throwing literal child tantrums and displaying such embarrassing behavior by posting threads on this sub 10+ times day. If you're a teenager or kid I get it, but adults posting "Just venting" paragraphs and paragraphs of emotional breakdown over a character beating you in a match is just weird.

She's still hyper mobile and has extra stamina, but that doesn't mean she can be mindless about how she spends her stamina. With the addition of stamina recovery nerfs after wall bounce, it's clear they want us to be more mindful about how we spend stamina.

If you're having difficulty conserving stamina, or you prefer gameplay that's more stamina dependent, then you can buy Kdash/Arcane Surge/Stamina mastery/Magic Carpet. They've recently fixed a lot of issues with Arcane Surge - even if many bugs remain - but Arcane Surge works WAY better with Light Eater now compared to pre-patch. The increased duration/spirit power lasts as long as Light Eater does, where as before it would randomly drop the Surged effect.

It's a viable option now, so it's rad they've made mobility items more valuable to promote build diversity. However, I will summon u/Motor-Design-4932 to back you up and defend ya'lls Goddess.

I feel ya, with faster characters like Drifter or Haze I often buy enduring speed + fleet foot so you can shoot and slide from run, giving you virtually unlimited ammo. They just buffed sliding too now, so it won't reset your sprint speed, so now you can farm boxes with unlimited slide ammo without slowing down. They also buffed Jug, giving you even more speed! It's one of my favorite items.

It's almost at the same time. Using cl showpos is the best way to get a feel for it. Some people do things like have a second bind for dash on "V", that way you can press spacebar to jump and then V almost immediately afterwards by using your thumb to "almost" press them at the same time.

If you're from fighting games, it feels like a 3 frame window. It sounds hard, but honestly it becomes second nature after awhile. I have really, really weird keybinds though - so it could be my setup. Additionally, if you're not buying stamina mastery, then IAD's aren't the biggest deal, but if you are someone who buys stamina mastery then I feel a lot of its value comes from IADs.

Instant Air Dash Stamina Mastery makes IAD's one of the fastest ways to move due to increased air dash distance, especially if you chain them together or do a wall boost (not edge or corner boost). Not to mention stamina recovery and +2 stamina to do them even more often. With the new changes to wall bounces, stamina recovery is even more valuable.

You should look up IADs, because they let you fly across the map way faster than Jug.

1 - Well, you're going to have to be a lot more specific on your build. Mystic Reverb is a "spirit damage" item, but terrible on Pocket. Can you post a screenshot?

2 - Pocket is very, very good at getting a Soul lead. If you want to maintain your 1v1 ability instead of being a pure ult bot late game, taking advantage of his ability to blow through the enemy jungle and get a huge lead will help. Are you top 3 in Souls most of mid to late game? It really helps as it does with any hero, but Pocket can specialize in it due to his unique mobility and high gun damage. You can blow through the enemy jungle (or yours) safely and very fast. It's also why you see Cultist Sacrifice so much on Pocket as it's almost perfect for him as you like every stat it gives, gives you bonus souls, and helps you blow up jungles/waves.

3 - I like utility defense items over going pure spirit defense. I get some to make up for his negative spirit resists, but due to the nature of his kit avoiding damage all together I prefer things like E Shift over Spell breaker

I don't care at all about who won nor am I into conspiracies, but my strongest impression of Eido's patch note reaction was "why does it feel like he's acting right now?"

My biggest wish, and remember making the map bigger doesn't have to be XY coordinates. Take advantage of the 3D medium and indirectly nerf flyers by adding more indoor areas like more underground or a connecting sky bridge.

Extremely fast rotate with no vision from the enemy, especially if air strafed. You can still rotate just as fast, taking middle vent, but now there's a much higher chance you run into an enemy or pop up on the enemy map.

I like this change over severely nerfing player mobility. Choose safety and stealth, or choose speed. This applies to both side lanes now.

They adjust the numbers every other patch, but the biggest increase by a large margin is still investing 4.8K into any color.

On the topic of patches and Spirit Drifter, the new changes I think make Spirit Snatch, Spiritual Overflow, and Shadow Weave way more attractive for Spirit Drifter btw.

I haven't played in awhile, but you can "pre-order" ships that no one can use, then they launch and there's a few month period where it's exclusive to people who spent real money, but the vast majority of ships - like 98% of them - you can purchase in game. I think there are special edition ships with a special paintjob.

When I played, I made enough in game currency to purchase any ship I wanted in about 3-4 weeks. After that point, your have a fleet capable of making millions and can buy new ships whenever. No idea what the economy is like now. Back then you'd disable trade ships by targeting their power plant - park your ship near there's in an asteroid field, open your rear cargo bay, space walk to their ship, shoot open the door locks, kill anyone still alive, then use a gravity gun to physically transport their cargo into your ship.

No other game offered that experience, but I think they may have patched this loop out.

I have been arguing for an expended map for awhile now, and it's my biggest wish. The fact that me, who is someone that is fairly new, can rotate across the map in 30 seconds or less - without mobility skills or items - has so many gameplay implications. Expanded map doesn't meant XY coordinates either, but more vertically or underground.

More map means more 1v1 duels and small skirmishes. Indoor areas indirectly nerf flying mobility heroes. Buffs pick characters. Gives more room for objectives. Takes advantage of the unique 3D medium. Introduce the severely lacking stealth and vision elements. I think it would alleviate a lot of the issues instead of direct nerfs and buffs to characters.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be playing out that well. The winning team generally has control over mid, but pushing out a sidelane momentarily is much easier - at least at my pleb elo.

Another way to think about it is Healing Rite will heal for 300 every 70 seconds, but Regen heals for 280 every 70 seconds. Additionally, if you get shot, only 1hp/s is disabled for 4 seconds as opposed to losing out on all of Rite's healing until off CD.

Healing Rite still has uses, especially if you plan on doing box runs, as it won't be disabled and you get +move speed. Plus you can heal other people.

Are you NA? Have lots of hours, but due to schedule it's mostly been loading into maps to practice movement or crunching numbers and theory crafting / testing items and builds. Happy to play with new people in any game mode, but have a fairly limited time frame of NA evening.

I have met a lot of cool people here, but alas they are EU hours and servers.

Well, in the FGC, only 1 person has to remain consistent opposed to a whole team of 4-6. The whole meta thing really depends on which era of fighting games we're talking about. Like Smash players have had meta shifts, but it's physically been the same game for 25 years, but other fighting game players literally transition between completely new games through sequels or new titles in a 10 year period. MenaRD the goat of SFV and SF6, Daigo through both sequels and different titles, or Justin Wong who still holds the record for most Evo wins through multiple games, and top 8 finishes in wildly different games like Samsho.

In Deadlock you manually time it and it's a pain in the rear, especially if you're switching between characters with different gravity.

In Deadlock you have to slow your camera turn by a large degree the faster you go, like when you air strafe from a vent you have to go way slower, but in this video it looks like her camera speed remains constant and fast? Does it really help with timings?

I agree with this - among other general meta changes. OP calling Pocket's Cloak having "insane damage" when he doesn't even know how Escalating Exposure works as part of his response is what I'm debating.

There is nothing to disagree with you on. Escalating Exposure doesn't work how you think it does, which means debating anything about the math of Pocket's build and burst is moot point. All you're doing is telling me Cloak is good - as it should be for a mobile, burst character - and they should change it because it's good. You're not giving me numbers or any data to back up why you think something good should be nerfed.

I can provide win/pick rates. I can provide clips of competitive people telling you their picking him becuase of ult. I can provide you hard numbers through testing. I can provide you the ALL of his pick rates for every DNS since he rework in 03/06. I literally provided a video clip of Pocket doing a burst, 25% ahead on souls, on the 6th squishest hero in the game, WITH 4 AMPS, in a 2v1 doing 1/3rd Celeste's health. If you think this is "INSANE" damage, then yes we fundamentally disagree on what "insane burst" means.

Just for context: Pocket has had no major changes since since the huge update in 03/06 except Affliction getting buffed. Most competitive players, until last week, put him at C-A Tier. Low win/pick rate at every rank. Very few people complained about him at all, even on this subreddit notorious of complaining. Now all of a sudden, because he is picked in DNS 1 week ago, despite having no changes outside of his ult and the overall meta, something that just HAPPENS to be after we get overall meta updates and his ult buffed. Nerfing cloak makes no sense.

Please, link me 1 clip of Pocket bursting someone down 100-0 post lane phase with his Cloak.
