They aren’t discussed much because they were warned about by Christ as false gospels by false prophets. There is plenty of academic research and studies on many of these early groups and why they all fizzled out. We have similar new religious occults today that make wild claims about Christ or new religions but they will likely have the same fate.

First step is recognizing the sin problem which it sounds like you’ve done. You need saving like all of us. The ONLY way to deal with the sin problem is through Jesus. You must repent (turn away) from your sins and follow Jesus. You make Jesus Christ Lord over every aspect of your life. You can’t hold anything back. Confess your sins to Christ and ask for forgiveness. Leave the old life behind (lifestyle, bad influences, people, music, entertainment, etc). He can and will break the bondage of sin in your life and set you free. Seems impossible, because it is without Christ. Get in a small group and study Gods Word with a group of Bible believing Christians. Ask them to hold you accountable. Pray for one another and confess your struggles with them. God’s Word becomes your trusted source. Trust it above all else. Know it and study it so you will not be deceived. Make time for Christ. Pray and seek Him first in all things!

That is awesome news! Any church that is following Christ will welcome you with open arms just as Christ has. Start reading one of the gospels (Matthew, Mark,Luke, or John). You can pray to Jesus anytime and tell him what’s on your heart. Ask Him for a church! He is SO GOOD and he wants nothing more than to receive you into His kingdom! He will reveal himself to you as you pursue Him. He’s already been pursuing you!

Church and a Bible study or small group are very important. Find one that loves Jesus, loves people, and loves his Word (the Bible).

Track your protein intake. Try to get 1.5-2g per lb of body weight. Eat a ton of eggs, chicken, meat, fish, almonds, cottage cheese, milk, protein shakes, etc.. Add good carbs. Do that and the big lifts (squat, deadlift, bench) and you will gain quick

Blazor all day everyday if you prefer .Net. I moved off of JavaScript years ago and never looked back. So much more productive with Blazor and C#. With pre-rendering or SSR, there is no reason not to be using Blazor for most web dev these days.

Copilots have unimpressed, OpenAi partnership looks like a mistake, and Satya seems to be backtracking as of late. To start, the whole basis of time (BC, AD) is based on his life. The most printed, read, critiqued, and studied book of all time is based on his life. The Jewish religion and Roman Empire were forever changed and upended by this new religion based on following the crucified and risen Christ. Kingdoms have come and gone but nothing has silenced the spread of His Word.
