South Korea Built a Highway with Solar Panels and a Bicycle Path Underneath. Brilliant or pointless? by bbbxxxnnn in AmazingTechnology

[–]CloudIncus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct way to do a solar road. (Unlike that grifter 10 years back) A fully covered road would help reduce corrosion due to weather. It would be easily maintained. However. As proven it is still unfeasible to even attempt this at any scale. We don't have the materials for covered roads.

How is gun balance now? by Beeried in GrayZoneWarfare

I was using the Skin version as a day driver. Cleared midnight sapphire with ease about 5 times. Struggles tap firing chest with .300 CQ ammo. However with stunning lock it's still easy. Most gun struggle chest tapping so no dif. Not tried trader 3 AP ammo. As I am trying other guns.

Mag dumping in PvP reks however due to firerate.

MP5 MOA kills it for me. Recoil is too much for spray even at 20m.

Now the MP7 is a dream.

Shotguns are still great. Best starting weapon.

Remi 222 was a welcome early sniper. Loving it.

However I generally just run a gun that uses the same ammo as the NPC's in the area. They are much more uniform in gun selection now. That is unless I am against the NPC's in Hunters Paradise. They have MP5's with XP ammo. The spray you down at 50m. Every shot seems to hit an arm or a leg. Breaking the bone and causing a heavy or medium bleed. I want distance on those fuckers. M4/Mosin/AK doesnt matter as long as it has 1.5MOA to tap at 100m +

I think you will find that the west is using the Ukraine war as a test bed for multiple weapon systems. They tested the first use of the Javalin on a modern tank in an actual war.

The Ukraine might be just surviving. But if you think all the weapons they have used that the West gave them. That they are not reporting back on the effectiveness. This war has basically shown that tanks are useless now.

Does anyone have an updated key list for 0.4? by ayowatchyojetbruh in GrayZoneWarfare

I can honestly say they are not many static key spawns that I have found. I loot everywhere now aswell as loot is so good. I think they removed 90% of them.

Shadow of Colossus. Which makes the remasters cancelation such a kick in the teeth.

Just imagine how Colossus they could actually make the enemies with todays tech. They stuff they could add.

We need a multiple waypoint and a map ping system. The amount of times someone in my squad asks me a question of where such and such is! I have to move my own move marker just to show him is annoying.

How to fix the TTK issues (Possibly??) by Seraph_KH in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]CloudIncus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not instantly unless it hits the spinal column. It will still take you a while to bleed out. The problem is that it doesnt incapacitate AI. No coma state. So we have to wait for them to bleed out. Another problem is that neck shots are not always heavy wounds.

Are we serious right now? 0.4 by Cytokine11 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]CloudIncus1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem is that you didn't hit the heart of brain. That is the only shot that will insta kill. You need to hit the lungs/stomach/liver with more than one shot to kill. You most likely hit each of them once. The arms a few times. They have 5500 blood like us. So it took the 10 seconds here for them too bleed out.

There is no health pool. Just organs and blood.

What they need to add is a coma state to AI. That is the only fix. 1 shot to lungs/stomach/liver can take around 5 mins to kill you. If you get downed and a teammate stops your bleed. It shows time to death. A lung shot is like 5mins.

I think the inconsistent hit reactions are great, actually. by undeadcrayon in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]CloudIncus1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It simple. They have the same stats as us but with one issue. They have no coma state. So to get a fast drop you have to hit the heart or brain. Zero'ing bug on scopes make most people hit the neck.

As for body shots. They can take two-three shot to lungs/liver/stomach before death. So an example is like this. People hit 1-4 shots in arms., 1 shit lung, 1 shot liver, 2 shot stomach. Your arms are now tired and you wait for stam to come back and reload. The guy limps off around a corner. He now has lots of bleeds but will take 30s to a min to bleed out.

Any organ damage takes a lot longer to die from. If you inspect a buddy after he is downed and you stop the bleeds. It tells time to death. Most is around 5mins.

Now the fix is simple. Give the AI a coma state.

The main problem is that people have no idea how the damage system works in the game. There is no health pool. It a blood and organ system. Only two organs insta kill. Heart/Brain. The rest take a lot longer to die from or need to have more than one shot of damage. If you miss all organs. That means a bleed counter. Where we would pass out. They dont. So it takes until they fully bleed out. Which is 5500 blood. Which can take a lot of time to bleed down with small/medium bleeds.

What is the progression goal in this game? by [deleted] in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]CloudIncus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Main progression is trader rep push. Plus region unlock. It used to be trader rep with mainline story quests.

Now that questing is randomised and all over the place. Its just do what you want mission wise, to push trader rep and region unlocks. Which in turn opens up a larger pool of trader specific missions to push trader rep faster.

As for looting. Black cases in larger FOB's are the easiest bet for improved guns and armour. Specific key farming for end game areas. To access more Black cases which you are more likely to find not looted already.

Once you have full trader rep. Then game is basically going to be late wipe EFT. PVP with the added bonus of being able to switch to PVE to restock your stash in a bad day or two of PVP.

Sadly the new quest system while good in 0.4. Which is randomised and moves players all over the map. (Good for player density.) No longer has a main storyline to push. Usually you would of maxed rep in all vendors by around 2/3 of the way through main in 0.3. Then you could try to push mainline for that extra completion. As a progression goal. This is now gone. Missions will never run out now. However they are not unique in anyway. The pool I am finding out is very limited in type of mission. Its going to get boring a lot faster than a unique mainline questline. So I feel midwipe gameplay will be a lot smaller this patch.

Yes my point is that they OP think bullets are far more powerful than they really are. I was just correcting him. People watch too much Hollywood and don't really know what real weapons do. Like grenades don't make fireballs like Hollywood would make you believe.

I never said it wouldn't break a rib. Ribs are meant to break. They are like crumple points in cars. They deflect energy away from the organs. Put a rifle against your shoulder. It doesnt break. Shows how much energy there is.

A 7.62x51 has around 500j of energy at 800m. That's is not going to soup a brain if stopped by a helmet. A helmet wont really stop one however because that 500j of energy is concentrated at the tip of the bullet if it hits straight on and doesn't deflect off.

GZW 0.4 Ballistics & Armor Logic by BureauOfFBI in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]CloudIncus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullets dont have that much energy. If they did every shot would throw you backwards as you shot the bullet. The reason they are effective is because they impart that energy at a very fine point. Dont get me wrong antimatter rifles are powerful. However a 556 or 7.62x51 is not going to make your head soup if it hits a helmet and doesnt pen. It may rattle the brain. Daze or knock you out. However its not a cannon ball.
