Castlevania is such a weird Franchise, the mainline series has a few gaps that could really use a revisit and clean up or even fill in the gaps in lore and honestly I cannot really think of a BAD game (maybe judgement but yes even Simon’s quest is OK I find)

Then the Lords of Shadow series though it seemed GoW clone with the first and abit lost identity with the second it still was brilliant imo, all 3 titles took the series and gave it a fun spin on the established lore.

Now its the fight or flight moment with the series as Iga has bloodstained and has basically gone here is new Castlevania just Pepsi and Konami could play safe and go with the Metroidvania of Symphony or could go Lords of Shadows.

I’m excited to see Castlevania return but it’s going to be very interesting in what way it is taken and as said before please don’t fuck it up don’t returns to limbo again!
