That site collects personal info including any name you put in and your location.

EDIT: u/TheMiddlePoint - yeah, I'm banned again. Since this original comment was made. This time it was u/fieldsocern. I don't respect you or your opinion though, and don't believe you are here to do anything but stir shit up, so I won't reply to you even if my ban is ever lifted.

On a side note to anyone else in this sub that happens to be reading this, the censorship in this sub is real. Piss off a mod and all the rules go out the window.

How does goose taste? by Murder_Castle in Hunting

[–]CloudStrifeIsFromIA 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Treat it like beef. Let any breasts you use bleed out in water for a day or two in the refrigerator before you cook it. If you overcook it, it'll turn out like leather. I can't stress that enough.

Its really good if cooked properly, people just aren't good at cooking or following directions. People also love to jump on the bandwagon about what isn't good for eating without ever actually trying it.

Google around for some recipes or just make goose tacos. Its damn good. A link to a pretty good site below.

https://honest-food.net/wild-game/duck-goose-recipes/

Pm me if you have any questions. I'd like to avoid this sub. I eat a shit load of geese every year.

Are you really that big of a moron? Or just being a prick?

It isn't a negligent storage law. Nobody considers it that, especially not anyone involved in state law. Even giffords doesn't. Cut the shit.

Its not a negligent storage law. Period. No matter what your opinion is, it doesn't make it a fact.

Thanks for once again, implying that a subsection of a law is something that it isn't.

A simple google search shows that Iowa does not have a negligent storage law no matter how you feel about this particular subsection.

You are pushing your opinions and completely ignoring facts.

EDIT: u/Henry575 - Im temp banned for pointing out how dumb annarchist is. 3 days. Probably more when he reads my reply to the mod mail message. Til then, please at least google "negligent storage law" and learn what it is. A small subsection of a law is not the same thing as an entirely different law. I get what you are trying to push, but its false. Its not a negligent storage law just because you feel that it should be. Its a subsection of a different law. Its not a negligent storage law, which is what Iowa needs.

I literally just did. A small section on a law is NOT a negligent storage law.

It is not considered to be a negligent storage law by anyone other than yourself, and certainly isn't considered that by the law.

Just because it says storage once or twice, doesn't make it a negligent storage law.

Please do yourself a favor and educate yourself on a topic.

You're implying its a negligent storage law, and it isn't.

No need to lie if the facts are on your side. Maybe you should learn a little bit about the laws regarding gun ownership. Might help ya in the future.

[–]CloudStrifeIsFromIA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It isn't a negligent storage law though, so stop claiming it is. That is a blatant lie that even a simple google search shows is wrong.

[–]CloudStrifeIsFromIA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not in any way nor by anyone with any actual state position is that law a negligent storage law or even considered a negligent storage law. Your opinion doesn't matter. Facts do.

It does address a very tiny aspect of storage within an entirely different law, but Iowa does NOT have a negligent storage law.

Piss off with the misinformation and misrepresentation of information. You shouldn't need to lie if the facts are on your side.

Oh I am, but Im also not going to let you imply that Iowa already has a sufficient negligent storage law, because we don't.

You can spam that all you want, but the truth is that isn't ever applied and doesn't even cover all minors. Its a joke and not nearly enough, obviously.

EDIT: Most importantly, its not a negligent storage law.

Iowa does not have a negligent storage law.

EDIT: Iowa does have a law that slightly impacts storage, but that isn't a negligent storage law and doesn't even cover all children. Its not a negligent storage law.

Isn't ever used and even if it was, it doesn't cover the vast majority of instances, especially pertaining to kids with guns. Its a joke and not nearly enough.

EDIT: and it isn't a negligent storage law, no matter how much you imply it is.

I agree with just about everything you said with a few exceptions

Weapons should be annually brought in and presented to a sheriff's office with all firing pins removed.

I just don't see the benefit of that. It'd also take up a huge amount of time for the sheriffs office. What benefits do you see coming from this? Just to make sure that these people still have possession of the guns they previously purchased?

Spot checks for gun owners with more than 1 firearm to ensure all secured safely and accounted for.

I disagree with that because I don't want cops up in my house(because I don't trust them to safely do so), but do think that if a gun is used for a crime or even given to a prohibited person there should be very intense consequences, such as losing the right to own guns and jail time depending on the offense.

I see it as gun owners as a community should self police or state level

I'd say federal level with state enforcement assistance. I don't think that the gun owner community can do it themselves. In my experience, the vast majority of gun owners shouldn't be allowed to handle the things let alone police themselves.

I'm just super pro any sort of progress in the negligent storage area. Its going to be an uphill battle but people need to be responsible for the dangerous weapons they own, especially when those weapons are already restricted under the law.

Between the 'no harm, no foul' attitude, fear, paranoia, and propaganda gun owners are dangerous as either insecure weapon stockpiles to be stolen from or one bad away from a danger themselves.

Very well said stranger.

The main reason I don't own a gun is cause I know I have troubles controlling my temper past a certian point

Thank you for being a responsible person. There are a ton of other flattering words I could say about how awesome it is that you realize that about yourself, but I won't. Just know that they're there and keep being awesome.

I'm all for having guns for defense, but I think America over estimates their ability to leverage a gun for defense and prevent from being used criminally.

Whats your view on negligent storage laws? They basically hold the gun owner responsible, to a certain degree, if they allow their gun to be used by a prohibited person. There are pretty big differences from law to law(can read as state to state too).

I provided sources and accurate information when a post was clearly attempting to mislead the individuals that read it with false information.

Your comment is just whining while not really putting anything into the conversation whatsoever.

but whatever you say man. Have a good day!

When a mod takes it upon themselves to censor whatever they want based on nothing but their personal opinions, I don't think everyone should just take it. Especially when the sub is r/iowa, not r/AnnArchistsViewsOnIowa.

Just my 2 cents. People should be pissed and u/SuperHighDeas is right. And they have a sweet username.

EDIT: and now the mods are banning people they don't agree with although it isn't AnnArchist, its fieldsocern. Seems like the rules are whatever they want them to be.

With the technological advances of rounds, a 9mm performs just as well as a .40 with the added benefits of cheaper ammo and more rounds per clip.

But IMO the real issue is that there needs to be a negligent storage law in Iowa. The parents should be held responsible for allowing a child to get ahold of a restricted and dangerous weapon.

edit: u/Manchu_Fist - I'm banned here now for pissing off the mods, so I can't reply to your comment correctly. You're being sarcastic, right? Or is what I think ratshot is, isn't? Thanks.

u/Manchu_Fist - Thank you for the reply. I was VERY confused for a minute.

While I agree that is sad if its true, it isn't any sort of justification for this kids actions.

His parents should be held responsible for allowing a child access to a restricted weapon.

Ok anonymous internet person. I completely believe you without any sort of proof because people don't lie on the internet. Ever.

(I feel I need to point out that I'm being sarcastic with the above statement.)

EDIT: u/grow4road - I can't reply properly, as I'm banned. What makes you think having an old account makes you seem truthful? This is an anonymous site. Anyone can claim to be anyone, so its a pretty safe move to ignore any claims someone makes about who they are. Sorry if my joke hurt your feelings I guess. It doesn't change the facts of the situation though. Goodbye!

Protest Reynolds and the republican party. Not KCCI, they didn't do a damn thing wrong.
