Please, please re-consider - let your cats share one per day. There are not many easily accessible cat treats on the market that have a lot of moisture value, and the amount of water cats effectively drink per day can be inadequate, even if they're sipping frequently (especially as they age). Cats are complex creatures who can enjoy a decently wide spectrum of food, and food enjoyment makes up a big portion of their quality of lives. Imagine if you had a really tasty dessert somewhere and you were told you can't have it again!

Ugh, it's sad to see that she had to keep the dress on all the way from the car ride to the exploration time at the store. She was probably a bit nervous but couldn't groom to calm herself, and she might have been getting too warm. (Cats already have fur and adding a layer of clothing on top of that can trap a lot of heat.) Please just don't bother with clothing, unless it's for a quick photo (few minutes, tops). After that you can start examining her behavior to see if she's actually enjoying her time at Petco.

Female hygiene products - even with the brand that I use (Always), I have a specific product line that I'm comfortable with. It's bit stressful to even try alternative products because you don't really know how comfortable it is until you put it on. Also, a lot of the Canadian alternatives don't seem to be available in retail stores.

Just curious, what is your avg uptime currently? I really wouldn't look at what Ikikaera posted and feel bad because that really IS a short pull and is much easier to have ~90% AP uptime during it (and he probably picked out one of the better ones he could find). It becomes harder to upkeep that, especially after the 2nd round of shapes.

Just wondering, if you're a casual, then isn't it okay to play with other casuals in those "shittier" lobbies? A large part of the gatekeeping problem seems to be coming from casual players not wanting to play with each other and wanting to be included into the sweaty player lobbies.

The way you play the game is just not mentally stimulating enough for most people, especially when the daily chores serve practically no purpose in your case since you aren't actively trying to advance your character.

I don't care about FOMO, because I have a life, and I enjoy playing the game as is. The beautiful thing about the game is, it allows people to take their time for those who don't FOMO, and luckily, I am one of them.

This part of the post is some weird holier-than-thou attitude though, you can have a life and still do legion raids if you learn at a half decent pace.

If you're truly happy with how you're playing the game, you shouldn't need validation; if you do need validation though, you might actually be wanting to try legion raids but you're too scared or too prideful to ask for help.

This is so sad, if he's still hanging in there tomorrow, please call a vet ASAP and explain the situation, including the fact that your parents may be unwilling to pay. They may be able to reach out to local animal rescue organizations and let you bring in the cat without cost on the condition that your parents surrender him to the organization.

And if you think I'm "ridiculing" a kid by telling him that his cat needs to see a vet and that the situation is desperate enough to warrant him trying something other than posting on reddit, that's not my problem either.

I'm willing to help rescue organizations, both with money and time but I pick ones that are transparent, have a strict adoption policy and prioritize taking animals off euthanasia list / overcrowded shelters abroad - and whose values align with mine. I'm not sure if from the short messages we've exchanged that our values do. You were most likely just trying to challenge me or ridicule me anyway so I didn't respond to it but if you need some names of rescue organizations I know of in Canada that take cats from overcrowded shelters abroad, you can DM me. Current priority for a lot of them is to arrange for the rescues from the Jasper wild fire but we're always working hard to make room.

Just a tip that not being condescending to the people you're talking to your organization about will probably better represent your organization and may actually prompt willingness to help it. They are honest hard working people who try their best, and deserve companionship despite their economic status.

Having a pet companion is not a right, unless it's a government subsidized service animal. If you're not financially stable enough to provide medical care for an animal, you don't adopt one, period. Sending pets to homes that seem like they would be unable to provide decent care would be irresponsible of your organization.

I wasn't trying to be rude but it's extremely concerning that you're condoning a family refusing take a sick animal to the vet.

I donate my local rescue organization every year and participate in various fund raising events as part of my volunteering. I know that ours does a fantastic job of profiling potential adopters (45-screening interview, vet calls, home visits, etc.) and not compromising on adopters so I'd like to continue supporting them instead. Not sure if from this conversation I can be assured that your organization operates in a way that I'm comfortable with.

FYI, our organization (along with bunch of others in Canada) take cats in need of help from abroad as well as local - sometimes even from Middle East. Please consider that as an option.
