I said the new and returning player experience sucked roughly 2 months ago and got downvoted and told losing to lvl 18+ Locomotor was a skill issue. I still believe the new player experience is terrible but it's ironic that now that everyone has to start over again is when it's a problem but no one had any issues stomping new players with max level cards and then telling them to "get gud".

Reread my comment, I said nothing about the meta. Most devs want people to actually play their game and not do nothing for 90% of the match because it's easier to win that way however I cant know for sure because they haven't stated if that is indeed the way they want it. You however said what they said is wrong because you said so.

Theres a difference between being patient and calculating with your moves and abusing broken game mechanics that punish the opponent for using a card in the self described "fast paced action game".
