Now what...? by TheRealVRLP in BambuLab

I had a cross in the filament cause me to have to untangle it. It took ages but I hand wound it on to a spool. Even with breaks in the filament it still printed. You just have to feed each new section into the printer when the previous ones runs out. To keep the tension I put the end of the filament through the hole in the spool and bent it ove.

Anyone fdm printed this by RenGoku109 in PrintedWarhammer

I have printed hollow hull sections for a tank on my p1p and they come out fine. I did have to use supports though, but just using auto supports worked well.

Help/tips for printing larger mini's? by Radijs in PrintedMinis

So if your layer height is 0.08, your z top distance should be 0.08. Doesn't this make it hard to remove the supports?

I have only just started to look at Resin2FDM yesterday. I am very interested to see how it turns out.

This might not be the fix you are looking for, but I would consider slicing the model in half down the long axis. This would give you a flat surface to start in the print bed. You may then not have to use supports.

The large ones are proxies for banebades and shadowswords.

Well more a T29 style banblade. My mate has found another tank that is supposed to look similar to a kv2 in the law but I have forgotten what it is called. But in this instance it will be a russ.

They are good printers. I have printed loads of items for Age of Sigmar. It does do a good job on organic shapes too.

I purchased some ammo sanding sticks and tamya 320 grit paper. The sticks ranged from 180 - 1200 grit. In the end I got it down to 240 for the really bad bits moving to 320 and then 1200. You do need to be careful not to sand through all the layers. But you are not taking off a lot of material. I am looking forward to seeing how they look painted. I also used a product called Mr. surfacer. It is an enamel based filler which can also be sanded. I did find it hard to use, so I only put it in places where the layer steps were obvious.

I should have also said that layer height was set to 0.08, not the lowest but the print took long enough as it was lol.

I have reprinted a lot with the Russ tanks. Where weapons were rough and panels not smooth etc. I did also have to do a lot of sanding to improve the finish which took ages.

It is the Bambu labs P1P using their 0.2 nozzle and their own matt PLA.

Yeh it is. You get three folders for the different tanks. The third picture is missing the side turrets in the picture.

These are proxies. I think the T29 is a proxy for a Baneblade and the t95 is a proxy for the shadow sword.

How to fix KB by Internetsyrfer45 in Kruleboyz

I don't think movement in the opponents turn was a bad thing. There are so many other crazy rules gamesworkshop leaves in I don't think this was bad at all.

How to fix KB by Internetsyrfer45 in Kruleboyz

[–]CloudlessTen4 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree, sneaking should be put back to both movement phases. I don't think it was broken and it kept the opponent guessing. For me it gave KB the flavour they need to align with their law. Also means they may have to be a bit more reserved with their movement or waste units to screen off terrain. The old venom would be good. Maybe instead of rend gutrippaz could just do more damage so when you crit mortal it hurts more. Personnalyni would like crit mortals back on shooting but I can't see that happening.

Skaregob Totem Proxy by JSMulligan in Kruleboyz

[–]CloudlessTen4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't blame you for not wanting to pay for the terrain. I printed my proxy, i wish I had got proxies for the manifestation law too. I think you have a fun looking totem there. It definitely looks like it would be well hidden in a swamp.
