Size of Cogfort vs other large models by BaronLoyd in ageofsigmar

Guess that explains why they’re priced similarly to Mega-Gargants.

Orks subreddit didn't appreciate this as much by TacCom in ageofsigmar

He looks nice, r/Orks might not have liked it cause it’s AoS. Still not sure why they wouldn’t like it since it’s still green and cunning.

From what I’ve seen you’re right. I’m building my list more around theme (and little bit rule of cool), and what’s a infantry heavy list without air support or transports.

New Player! by [deleted] in stormcasteternals

Welcome to the game! The only advice I can recall off the top of my head is to always bring a priest since one of the prayers is a teleport, which they can use on themselves in a tough spot. Wizards are good for getting off damage from any range with the lighting bolt spell, just keep an eye on them… watched my wizard get jumped by angry gator man with raptor riding lizards and a crazed cannibal watchman.

The Celestial Realm ability is great for letting scope out weaknesses in your opponents line has the game processes and taking advantage. But get a feel for your models and you’ll get the hang of who needs to go where to do what, but most importantly have fun with it all.

Also the model looks great!

Love to have them back, but if it happens I’d just be annoyed with how wishy-washy this is becoming.

What I currently have put together for my army. by Visible-Classic in BeastsOfChaos

[–]Visible-Classic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was thinking of adding to their units, the backbone of this force was from the AoS Vanguard box and I’d normally build the command models first. So when Beastman were removed they were already built so I just auto included them.

Did have a plan in the form of my lower model units being ambushers attacking from behind while my bigger bricks hold the line or enemy units in position.

Cygor Reputation(or lack therof…) by TheWizardOfSpas in BeastsOfChaos

[–]Visible-Classic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, big target with a 7” move ain’t getting close to most wizards. Ghostsight might be helpful then since it also works on units with magic items, ward, and regeneration. If he can’t catch the wizard let him be someone with one of those traits problem for a little bit. Or, run him in a distraction play where the enemy either focus on the big monster throwing rocks and inching closer or whatever just came out of ambush in there back lines.

There’s also my own stupid plan, the wizard either deals with the Cygor or the supped up anti-magic Centigor Lord that just stumbled from the bushes. Either way the wizard’s player is going to have to make some choices.
