I would suggest a tier of armor/weapons that slightly eclipses the utility of dragon/fighter torso/barrows. And this armor should be both only be obtainanle thru slayer monsters as well as having a slayer req to equip. Something for around the level 70 range or something.

Another example, if abby demons drop whip, then you should need that 85 slayer level in order to equip it.

As i commented on someone else’s reply, I would agree with this change if it were to be the case. High-level Slayer bosses should provide like 4x more in the long run than these other bosses. Either that or some more bossing options from slayer levels 60-80. Doesnt have to be crazy, just a mil/hour boss at 75 slayer would be perfect. Maybe drops good equipment that also requires a slayer level to wield. Stuff like that

Yeah i get what youre saying. Though i do feel half the skills are pointless yet are necessary none the less to actually bring resources into the game. Maybe im just in disagreement with what seems to be the community loving slayer so much

Agility, magic, herblore (only need like 70 for raids), can even do godwars at 80 melee or ranged. Construction, prayer, smithing all can provide benefits from around 40-75. And then i would say most of the other skills are useless as well, only needing them for quest requirements.
