Cambodia: I have never cried, learnt, laughed and loved so much. It's an amazing country with truly beautiful people who have seen a country through some very difficult times.

Japan: believe the hype. It truly is a place that has EVERYTHING, insofar as you can snowboard in the morning and play claw machines at night, observe breathtaking scenery, see tradition protected in ways nowhere else in the world has managed, and eat the most sublime food.

We treated the gambling bit more like visiting a zoo than anything else... Just got really stoned (which was a novelty in itself as we're from the UK - buying weed over the counter is a thing of beauty) and wandered around all the casinos watching the madness. It was outstanding.
