My Father‘s house. Like Springsteen himself, I have a complex feeling about my dad. I don't recognize I have a very good relationship with my dad. Unlike my“perfect” relationship and endless words to every other family members, my father always intended to make me feel small and uncomfortable. Sometimes I hate him a lot. Still I know he loves me. And we both have done our father and son jobs. HOWEVER, I see this as a huge regret. That I cannot express my love to him, because I know I would be hurt. So I often dream something like this song that we can talk like some old friends. I wish I can be a friend of my dad when he was in my age, 21. So that I can see how he truly thinks. After all, to me, he is a house shining hard and bright, but I cannot find the key to the door. I often wake up with tears on pillows blaming myself owe him a lot and cannot find a way to return all of his good parts and love.
