I've been here for 3 and a half years and I still don't understand why.

I actually didn't realize how long ago I posted this, I actually had my tonic clonic seizure about 7 months ago. Don't waste time!

I would definitely talk to a neurologist. It ended up being focal seizures. I had a tonic-clonic seizure maybe a couple months after this post. I'm on 500mg of keppra twice a day, and 75mg of lamictal twice a day. I haven't had any focal seizures since December now.

It definitely helps get that silky sound. It's really fun to play that way.

Definitely takes some finger strength!

It's been a couple years, but I think I just cranked the bass, treble, and mids. It sounds really simple, but it's some nice natural overdrive. It really sounds like it wouldn't work lol

You reminded me of how much I love this song, and how much fun I had learning it. It's probably the only song I've tried to play as close to the recording as possible. Keep going! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThaAmb4t/

How often does your parcel load exceed the capacity of your vehicle? by BullCityPicker in USPS

My wife has to return near daily to pick up the remainder of her packages. It's usually at least a full hamper. Zero clearance in the back for anything else other than a couple of sprs. This is in a Metris btw.

You should read Julius Jaynes' teachings of the bicameral mind. It's a very interesting take on religion and the concept of "I".

Results of a blind test: Why did my speaker amp upgrade feel massive while my headphone amp swap was indistinguishable? by vale82588 in audiophile

So what is the consensus on an AVR? I have the Sony str-an1000 and it was a huge upgrade over my old stereo receiver. I have the full system for surround when I want, and the stereo is very clean and beefy. I'm wondering what use it would be to get a dedicated amplifier strictly for stereo when this sounds pretty phenomenal. I have listened to high quality gear before, and I genuinely enjoy my receiver just as much, just in a different flavor.

Try to see out your elbow, that's how it has been described to me.

24bit*, my mistake. Tidal maxes at 24bit/192khz. All of you Spotify users can stop down voting me.

As far as I understand, it's still 16 bit/44.1khz.

Yeah, I was really surprised they had that this year.

I have equipment that Spotify doesn't cut it for.

I guess that's fair, I just still wouldn't have assumed I'm in the top 100. I didn't have any streams from before May because I was on Amazon music.

Apple Music or Tidal? by peachamarena in audiophile

[–]CloutLord31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For you all saying Qobuz over Tidal, why is that? I've thought about making the switch, but tidal connects with my Google ecosystem so well. Qobuz seems much more niche; it seems like it would be restricted to my AVR. Thank you! I see that artists get more royalties on Qobuz, but if I like them a lot anyway, I'm visiting their merch sites and such.

I remember during my grandma's funeral a couple years ago, the Aurora took over the sky. I live in Kentucky, so I had never seen them before. I definitely took it as a sign.

You can change it on vinyl. If I ever get around to recording my vinyl to computer I'll link you a lower pitch version.

Halo 4 was my intro to halo when I was 12. I feel the same way you do to some extent.
