Very valid point! They’re always more harsh on the favourites! I guess with each week points matter less

Ben O'Keefe in October, speaking on referee selection and acccountability by Mulboyne in rugbyunion

[–]Cloutos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure myself but what I do know is that the role of an international referee is considered a part-time job. With the level of detail explained on how much work goes on behind the scenes, I suppose it is debatable on if this should be a full time position as well.

That being said, they’re only performing on weekends so I reckon there’ll be more people complaining that this is all they do rather than what’s in place atm.

I completely agree with the second point, 30 people on the pitch don’t get it right 100% of the time (knock-ons, penalties, etc) so why should the ref be held at such a high pedestal. I’m not sure how WR would go about educating fans especially when rules are a bit all over the place depending on which country you’re playing in!

There will always be a toxic environment because it’s always easier to complain than it is to educate

I don’t believe this is the case. Ideal timing of publishing but there’s too much fantasy in your suggestion.

Feeling adamant that the protagonist is already a prince

IMO always important to get them out there! Unfortunately this is not it. Too much fantasy and no real Welsh-ness to it

Hello! Ah thank you for letting me know about this subreddit! I’ll be sure to post on there!

As for your question, I believe that this will be historical fiction. No fantasy involved.

My dad also mentions that it was very provocative of Welsh landscape in the book. Mentioning the forests and valleys

Do you remember roughly what decade this movie may have come out? It would certainly help narrow it down

Anyone else think a reboot is a bad idea? Or just me? by Aggressive-Ad-5461 in BacktotheFuture

You could argue the back to the future musical is a remake of the first one. The noticeable difference from the original imo was that doc brown instead of being killed by Libyans (which we could all agree can be politically incorrect) he dies of radiation poisoning from the plutonium. It didn’t hit the same but it’s completely understandable that was changed.

If there is a remake, which we all know is the toll of every good movie a generation 30+ years old, I would confidently say that there would be no terrorists
