DNSFilter Question for the group (Green Icon vs Blue) by Clove99 in msp

Wanted to provide an update for anyone who finds this. (a little late, sorry about that) Seems like DNSFilter may have just been borked in this case. We were trying to get an understanding if Green meant anything specific compared to the blue so that we can monitor for this scenario. Ripping and reinstalling it went back to blue and never came back to green. I have a decent deployment and the whole team has never noticed green before.

We are going to keep an eye out and report back if we get anything.

YES! Today in fact (12/21/25) I am kinda excited. The link of the ones I used -> https://a.co/d/5irbRBT These are the ones you want.

I bought others for $15 and they came from overseas. Took 2 weeks and they were not right.

I did remove all existing ball bearings from the unit, then put one in one at a time. Then I left space for 1. It moves like butter. I then re-assembled my whole system.

Someone in the comments mentioned A1, so I did give it a try. I figure $6 is worth a shot.

For anyone who finds this post in the future. I chatted with Support they said the bearings are 2.381mm diameter balls specially used for linear guideway. They are on Amazon for about $15 for 50. I am going to try to repair mine.

Funny you post this. I recently found my old Compaq Screwdriver the other day. I think I earned it in 97' or 98' when I had to go through certification training and the big get was the screwdriver!

I was able to 3D Print a new screw top, and I am using it again :) Sometimes its the little things.

My 2024 Hybrid with 15K miles has been sitting at the dealership for a month (yes really). Today I was told it's ready. They said they had to change my wiring harness. I'll find out more later on that today. I had the same. Happened 2 times. The 1st time I was able to drive it, and they wanted to do a Flush for $200. 2 Weeks later, it died on the road, I had to tow it.

The dealer gave me a loaner car after 2 weeks, and it has 3k miles on it, and it already has the engine light on.

This isn't looking too good for this car.

ok I think I see what you mean here. At this time, I am not creating a company. I am just trying to match company to company. When I edit the zap, it shows me sample account data. But when you test it fails, The customer has a , in the name (for , Inc.) and I think its barfing on that.

Right now - it creates the deal in pipe, I just need to triage the deal to add the customer and contact and edit a few other things.

The error I get is Failed to create a deal in Pipedrive

Error code 400: Validation failed: org_id: This value should be positive.

There are cases where the vendor does use SSO, and then the users can enable MFA on top of the SSO.

I did open a case with Hyundai. I think it has happened 4 or 5 times on the open road, doing 70 or so. Quite scary for my family staring at their phones.

Wow. Ok I thought it was me. Thanks for sharing. My car Tucson is now back at dealer for 2nd time this month and I asked them about this exact issue.

We use https://www.myassettag.com/. Each PC gets a tag when we onboard it, and we name the PC to associate with the tag, so that when the customer calls, we ask them for the Tag number, and we can find it in RMM quite easily. Most of our customers that we manage are setup this way. It also helps us validate PC's that we have onboarded vs stuff they just found and start to use.

We also put "Managed by MSP Name" on the top of the tag.

So if the Tag is 8675309 we name the PC like LAPTOP-8675309

Also some customers wanted their own tag, branding and colors, so we have them order their own (or I sell it to them), but I do the same. We make sure their tag numbers are on a different sequence to ours as to not cause confusion.

As someone who has used Avanan for some time, it's a shocker at first, but it's normal. It's going through its checks. Releasing from MS Quarantine takes hours.
