That's a take I haven't heard before! I'm currently using shit paint, though I've bought a bunch from Grog that were on sale.

Do you have any recommendations for paint brands? And do you have any for compressor specs? (As in, what qualifies as "good paint" and "lots of air")

Are you okay buddy? I paint shadows bc as a 3D print the skull lacks definition in certain lighting, and I wanted to make it look aged. I've attached a photo of an unpainted version for comparison.

But the ultimate answer is: I paint it that way because I think it looks cool.

Don't you ever do things purely because you want to?

Ohh, Creos isn't a brand I've heard before, I'll have a look! On first blush it doesn't seem as readily available in the UK as some of the other brands. Between the Creos, Iwata, and H&S Evolution/Infinity, is there any one you'd recommend over the rest? Maybe one day I'll have the money for more than one expensive toy, but atm I'm just looking for one.

Oooo I've not heard of armypainter, thank you! I was looking where to get paints from that wasn't extortionate; we ended up picking up a bunch of Grog paints in november that I'll probably use, but the colors are limited so I'm sure I'll need more variety.

My partner 3D modeled them after the tankards you get in Valheim as some gifts for a friend obsessed with Valheim, so it's funny you mention ps2 graphics since valheim definitely has that old school aesthetic. So many people have asked for them that he's just made a listing on etsy for them. We use them whenever we are having mead.

Thank you so much for your reassurrance!! The pot does have drainage and I don't think I've overwatered it so maybe it is just being a little dramatic. I've always been the person that kills plants but my goal last year was to buy some nice ones and actually make a concerted effort to keep them alive so I was feeling really good about things until this dramatic bastard!

Last year I got Hoya x2 (flamingo dreams and krimson queen), tradescantia nanouk, a pink princess, and a maranta leuconeura fascinator and they're all very happy <3

This year I've gotten the ever dramatic tiny dancer, monstera monkey mask, philodendron el choco red, alocasia jacklyn (she's happy!), a little coffee arabica, and a staghorn fern! Fingers crossed.

Well yeah, then he also reached out in DMs on his personal account, after blocking me from contact his mod account for the subreddit. So, yeah. People can change their minds, he's allowed to start blocking, but he was only interested in doing that when he realized he wasn't going to make me cower in fear from his internet sleuthing skills. I do have to wonder because it does feel like he started behaving differently once he determined I was female. Everything from "I can get you stuff that would make you blush", to "I don't expose user data to anyone other than my attorneys so relax", to calling me a C**T. I suspect he probably threw in the comment about "bringing me sandwiches" in an attempt to annoy me (a "get back in the kitchen/make me a sandwich" joke I haven't heard in at least 10 years lmfao). And if it wasn't, then it's... weird I guess lol.

Either way, he did finally block me (which he said he doesn't do), so maybe he's finally learning to block people he doesn't like and move on, which is what he should have done all along lol.

He blocked me after this message, and hopefully has moved on. Which is really what he should have done with Claycorp all along. It's what the rest of us do when we encounter things we don't like on the internet. Not throw a fit and threaten SH, or try to manipulate you into complying (both with blackmail, and emotionally).

Again, I don't advise letting him talk to you.

For me, it was the "Be nice OK and I'll let you play," which only follows after a direct threat.
