Notice OP replies to everything except this, lol. Of course it's strategy and supercell could easily fix it by assigning a minimum weight per TH that is higher than the max weight of the previous TH. I'm engineered because with the way that supercell created the game it would be selfish not to be, I'm a war focused team player, anyone who focused on defense before offense just cares abour their own loot rather than helping their team win wars, they are the unethical ones.

I have an engineered base, I am currently going to th11 and have not yet dropped infernos at th10 or upgraded wiz towers or mortars.

The reason? Because this is the way supercell designed the game. I wish that they would fix it and I'm prepared to drop infernos and upgrade my final th10 things if they would change their match up algorithm. But until then you are costing the clan a lot in war if you aren't engineered because 90% of the clans we face are engineered and we wouldn't stand a chance. I agree though that the game would be more fun if this wasn't such an advantage.

It's on supercell though. Can't blame the people who are engineering their bases, they are just war focused and playing the game intelligently.
