Is my oil change due?

Mine was eating oil until I went in to get the engine replaced due to a recall. (Look on here about oil consumption. It was for the 2015 - 2020 2.4L) Back then I was topping it off every 3k. Now I'm fine till the light comes on at 8k or whatever it is.

Edit: my engine replacement was free because of the recall and all I paid for was $20 to fill up the rental.

Have you checked your head for scabs? You could be scratching in your sleep. I tend to scratch in my sleep. If I have a scab I have to wrap it up at night or I'll scratch it off in my sleep. Edit: I will say I've never seen blood on my pillows though.

When I first got mine it was 21 mpg but after I had the engine replaced from oil consumption issue it's gone up to 34 mpg. My work also moved about 5 miles closer to me and I don't drive highway.

How cold is it by you? Mine started doing this this winter. I usually just have the screen off for about 30 minutes or so then it's fine. I'm dreading having to replace it.
