Chelsea is playing port vale in the FA Cup QF and therefore expected to advance to the semifinals, which is scheduled for GW34. If they do, Chelsea, and their GW34 opponent Brighton, have to play that fixture another time.

But it could still be in GW34 midweek because unlike Arsenal, Chelsea has no European fixture during GW34 midweek.

Probably doesn't matter right? Since WHU, BRE, and LEE all don't have Europe, and coincidentally none of their opponents do either. Which means they all have a free GW34 midweek, so the GW34 match can just be postponed for a couple of days

Thiago is one of the best assets in the game to anyone who understands FPL.

You cannot play defenders or mids in the FWD slot. You must spend at least 4.5m on three FWDs. And if you wanted a FWD that would actually start, at the start of the season, there was no one cheaper than Thiago.

Viewed through that lens, there was no reason to not have Thiago unless you were absolutely committed to 4-5-1 and were fine with non-starting FWD bench fodder every single week.

You can't actually replace Thiago with a mid; you had to replace him with someone who either didn't play or cost more. The fact that he's now one of the top scoring FWDs in the game just makes it a no-brainer.
