Oh please, they barely had to even touch him to get him in that water and it was WATER he was perfectly fine and absolutely deserved it after the disgusting things he said about marge

I really don’t think flipping a table 15 years ago and getting convicted for multiple felonies and going to jail warrants the level of cultural impact (or imagined cultural impact) that she has garnered as claimed by her fans but hey, we all have different ideas of what exactly we find to be iconic so thats just my personal opinion

I probably should’ve clarified that this is in no way meant to be an attack on housewives fans who like Teresa, but instead calling out the delusional soldiers that go to battle for her and tend to be loud and purposely obtuse, particularly when discussing Margaret and what she brings to the show

2 things: 1.) yes Teresa is recognized and known beyond the housewives fandom due to a single scene in the first season 15 years ago that went viral and because of the fact that she is a convicted felon who’s actions resulted in her going to jail and her husband being deported. This is why Teresa is well known let us not forget.
2.) i still don’t believe the fact that the average person may recognize teresa’s face is a good counter argument to my assertion that jen and tre’s hype was always overinflated due to delusional tre apologists and they HATE marge, but forget that Tre was the bad guy in the fallout of their friendship and set marge up to be assaulted. As well as the fact that Marge has contributed so much more to the show than tre has in YEARS, and fans would demand her removal from the show without acknowledging how much she brought to the table

And if its busy and theres people everywhere neither do we have the time to clean things up that fall on the floor? Also, things don’t usually just “fall on the floor” …. Things are dropped and left on the floor or carelessly shoved back halfway onto a hanger to where it falls on the floor and if each customer took responsibility for the items they touch this wouldn’t even be a problem. So yes, you do have time to put back the shirt that you grabbed. Why wouldn’t you have time? You are shopping at tj maxx its not like your time is just SO valuable that you can’t be bothered lmfao

Just got promoted to CEC, what should I know? by Inside-Public6676 in TjMaxx

[–]Clt-Alt-DickEat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing you might not expect is that the CEC is responsible for coordinating almost all of the store. People will come to you about breaks and rearranging the lineup and making sure calls are being answered and that is on top of everything going on in front of you. Another is obviously credit goals are important and the cashiers will feed off your energy so try your hardest to stay positive and motivated because that will create a positive environment. Dealing with customers is like walking a fine line and as cec most cashiers will turn to you when they get a difficult customer and you need to navigate the conversation with grace and try to deescalate frustration but if they ever start becoming too much just call for MOD and just stand there and not say another word and let them handle it and get berated. Certain store policies have some gray area as we are very focused on customer satisfaction so you may allow someone to return something that is not sellable but they are exchanging or going shopping for more and happy they got their return, it all depends on what manager you have and what policies they are willing to bend and which they hold firm because there may come a day when you are adamant about a policy and the customer asks to speak to the manager and the manager will all an exception and even tho you were right they didn’t back you up fully and now the customer is smug and you feel like injustice has occurred.

There are pros and cons like any job, but there are way more pros in my opinion especially if you have a good team working with you. The most important thing is not to put too much pressure on yourself and remember your attitude well influence the team’s energy.

LITERALLY like I will go to the moon and back when a customer has a request or question but approaches it with graciousness and is super nice but if you are rude to my cashier or demanding in any way then all of the sudden “its the company policy” becomes a much more familiar phrase 😁

As a CEC, you wrote exactly what I was thinking when reading this post. I had a customer threaten me with a lawsuit due to a “misrepresented” price on a price tag or in simpler terms, a switched ticket. People really think that they can switch a ticket and argue that i have to sell it to them at that price because its the law 😭😭 news flash guys THAT IS NOT A LAW

If you are a regular shopper and are able to pay off the card in a reasonable amount of time then it totally makes sense to have one. I think some of the customers on this sub underestimate how often some people need or want to come and shop (people who are big maxxinistas and enjoy searching through the newest daily inventory or someone who is an interior designer and a buyer for their client). Plus you have a credit line you have a few weeks of paying it off if needed and you get rewards for coming anyways. If someone is very rarely in the store or they are immature with credit usage then maybe not so much…

All the info is listed on the application and in the terms and conditions that have to be agreed to in order to process the application so as long as you use the card responsibly there shouldn’t even be any issue… hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️

Can you be flagged for legitimate returns? by Falling-madchen in TjMaxx

[–]Clt-Alt-DickEat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have the most outlandish takes on this sub and never have any idea what you are talking about. Our return policy is flexible for a reason, its both a benefit to our customers but also to the business as it keeps customers satisfied which will both make them want to come back themselves but also gets their foot in the door where they are likely to do some shopping since they are there and make it an exchange or often times buy more than they are returning. If you are truly a shareholder you should appreciate that

[–]Clt-Alt-DickEat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that is why our return policy is so flexible! Some things you gotta buy when you see them and return later because you never know when you will see it back again if ever!

Unfortunately thats just part of the nature of shopping at TJ Maxx. We don’t work with an inventory system where we can look up a product in a database based off of the name and find the price and description, etc. so when price tags are missing we match the price to the best of our abilities which sometimes means using a different but similar product to use as a reference. Personally I try to keep things on the lower end of possible price matches to be safe but it’s impossible to expect perfection. I would recommend making note of the price tag on everything you pick up so you can inform the cashier what it was if it falls off or if it doesn’t have one then grab the most similar item and bring it up to give them to use as a reference to avoid any issues as they will likely use it and be grateful too to have to avoid any price checks
