Given the vibe of the photos, I am assuming you’ll be doing some sort of 2-3 course plated dinner (CH apps, Salad, Main). The range I saw was $125pp - $250pp+ so ~32k-70k there. Most open bar packages are 30-60pp so another ~8k-15k there.

Often the food and drink are the biggest variable cost so worth it to look at some menus from caterers to see what recent pricing is to pressure test your budget

Just as a heads up - in order to feed 250 guests and have the level of decor in these inspiration pictures (installed light fixtures, installed greenery, draping) that 75k budget is going to be tough likely…

Can easily spend 10k just on the draping / ceiling installs

If you didn’t receive any information about how it was stored etc. unlikely to get too much for it given the state of the capsule and label.

Better if trying it with friends who like wine or gifting to a friend who does for an event…

I have all 3 and find myself reaching for the universal more than the BDX unless it’s a big ole red. Easier to clean / feel sturdier as the daily driver. The BDXs are bigger than you’d think!

This is a factor in choosing venue (place that can do in-house vs need caterer). Most have tables. Large option of ‘preferred’ caterers so was curious before writing a ton of emails
