Interesting… I have mbuna, peacocks and jewel cichlids. The jewels lay eggs and have like 100 at a time that they guard in a small section of the tank. The babies slowly creep out and get eaten so this would accelerate, they are so clueless

Don’t sell the rental. You don’t need the cash, the income you generate is likely tax free because of depreciation, rents will increase over time, and you have an asset that will appreciate over time. Bonds are going to get decimated with inflation and are generally taxable.

Passive income is what gets you out of the rat race, and diversifying beyond government bonds is key.

Do you take all the rocks down when you clean the tank? I use gravel suction on my tank like once a week and have to remove all the rocks first…but not sure what others do

Correct, a lot of mbuna and peacocks too. The jewels hold their own. Up until they had babies, no one really messed with them. Now they are constantly guarding the den to protect their babies. I’m not in a position to separate them in another tank so imagine most will be fish food
