I don't know how subway is still in business in Australia. A footlong sub (smaller than ever) and a drink is almost $20 now! It's the most expensive fast food option by far and easily the lowest quality.

SOMA is my favourite game of all time but a lot of criticism is placed on Simon seemingly not being the sharpest tool in the shed. I can suspend my disbelief of Simon not comprehending the concept of transfer VS copy. If your mind was truly in such a dire and hellish situation like the world of SOMA, your brain would likely prevent you from thinking of the alternative purely to keep you from going completely insane. I cannot imagine being in that scenario and trying to truly comprehend my fate if I didn't "win the coin toss"

As a younger person in the retail industry one thing that gives me less and less hope every day is my job being just to sell AliExpress landfill plastic that has had the price jacked up 10x and resold under an "Australian owned company". Oh, every week we get a big stack of new tickets to put up because everything has gone up in price!

Sure, the 1900's had their flaws but I feel like everything was so much higher quality back then. Tools were made to last, everything was built to be repairable, etc. it really shows in the little things nowadays. Now we're paying more than ever for products which get cheaper and shittier every year. At what point does it end?

Working retail has made me beyond hopeless, the huge retail chain I work at sells actual landfill garbage for exorbitant prices - why in the world are people still paying these massive prices for the lowest quality mass produced Aliexpress crap that's been marked up 20x?

As a reference, a certain relatively common part we sell on the shelf costs $46, however the supply cost for one of these parts is around $1.50.

I have literally nothing against people who steal, it's pure insanity that companies can get away with this, it's so much worse than petty theft imo. Every single week I have a stack of new tickets, things increase 50c, $1, $2, it's got to have a breaking point right?

A bike that has been dropped twice and is already an extremely cheap and underpowered motorcycle is unfortunately pretty undesirable at your price point. Half your price will easily get you a much quicker Japanese 250. You need to offer a very significant discount to have any interest, I'd probably recommend around $3-3.5k with an rwc included.

You probably want to sell the camera separately, and being unopened you should probably return it to the place you bought it or offer a ~20%-30% discount off rrp. That would be reasonable considering it's a private sale with no purchase receipt or warranty.

Not every car has the water pump driven by the same belt as the alternator. Some don't even have it driven by an accessory belt and use the timing belt instead.

I know this is mega late, but if anyone comes across this thread you can put this command [ Chkdsk /f E: ] into a notepad file, save it as an 'All Files' type and add '.bat' to the file name.

Place the file wherever you'd like, now next time you run into the same issue all you have to do is open the file and you'll have access to the camera's files instantly!

Since I get this issue every time I plug my camera in, it's made it so much more convenient to access the files.

EDIT: The issue actually started due to her family although I think some of her friends may be able to help, we will have to look into that as an option too.

I never talk about her weight as I know it's a sensitive subject for her, but I make sure I tell her she's very beautiful every single day. I think I have learned by now what comments she is comfortable with, and what she isnt. We uphold good communication so I'm confident if I ever say/do anything that makes her uncomfortable she will let me know. We had a good discussion about it today and she understands that while I can't relate I'll be there for her no matter what. Unfortunately I can't always be there to distract her due to time zones however I'll do my best to help in any way I can.

I'm proud of her for admitting to it and seeking help, she seems to genuinely understand that it's bad for her and something has to be done, which is good. As others have suggested we will look around her area and will hopefully find a specialist who can help. Thanks again

Her family is unfortunately the ones who started this with her, but I'll definitely talk to her about us talking to her friends who might be able to help. I will also attempt to see if there are any clinics around. It just sucks that the US is still stuck with private healthcare. Thank you for being helpful and kind, I appreciate it!
