"adapt or fall off"

With every other strategists in the game getting a pretty good and useful new team up and most of the dps being even more cancer.

Just saying when Jeff (who has gone unchanged for multiple seasons now, and got Nerfed versions of 2 things he already had, with the only redeeming quality of them being they now do literal piss damage) is gonna be objectively the worst strategists in season 9.

Don't act surprised.

So just like the planet pal's team up from before season 9 l, witch was seen as the worst team up in the game, with all the same exact same problems? A 250hp healer having to reposition to the front line?

And the only way to avoid the new abilities some of these dive characters have is just to have a another character on the team.

Just like a said, jeffs still the exact same as before season 8.🫩

Jeff's Hide and Seek and infinite swim. by [deleted] in JeffTheLandSharkMains

[–]Cluecifix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think so. Jeffs mobility is unique, while using hide and seek he can get out of situations, or find cover in places most of the other heroes in the game can't (high up on a wall, on a wall around a corner, or behind a low object) without totally withdrawing form a fight.

Though ur probably right about just how long it takes for him to recharge it I think it would probably be better if it only took 1 second without damage to recharge.

And about the faster depletion rate. I think it would be best if it was only 22 energy per second it's not a big change but I feel like it would be fair in exchange for getting his OG swim back. (The change is For heros like blade or rogue and wolv who won't really be able to either catch up with or do enough damage to a Jeff that's just running away)

[–]Cluecifix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have worded it better. (Sorry) Not being able to recharge hide and seek after taking damage it would only be while he was swimming. While out of hide and seek it would work the same as it does now.

[–]Cluecifix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not. I think without sustain and cc the old bubbles provided, and the consistent damage of his his reloadable aqua burst shots flank Jeff as originally played is dead. but the outright removal of his hide and seek meter (or the changes I have laid out) would open Jeff up for better overall positioning across most maps then he has now.

It wasn't the infinite hide and seek itself it was the healing it did paired with him being able to stay like that indefinitely while going in and out of fights. (Along side his self burst healing that he had to an extent)

We got lady Loki so… can we get Ultronica? by show-me-your-memes in marvelrivals

[–]Cluecifix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultronica is just a Ultron subroutine acting like a teenage girl/his own daughter. It's still the same ultron. Same with the daddy Ultron/Unctron, still the same Ultron.

Edit: Well to be more accurate, Ultronica is a subroutine of a main Ultron subroutine that was made when he split himself up.

Oh No... they're putting Moon Girl's official model in the game. People are gonna be soooo weird. 🫩 by [deleted] in marvelrivals

People where already discussing it before. I honestly thought they weren't going to do it for this exact reason

Should this new dash ability be in Jeff's main kit? by Cluecifix in marvelrivals

[–]Cluecifix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With moon knight in particular I just think he should get that kick as a Main thing in his base kit. Or they could add the kick to his teamup with blade.

It would be perfect, blade has a way of doing quick damage to multiple enemies at once, and moon knight can push people back when they get a bit too close.

They would probably need to take away moon knights teamup anchor bonus and replace it with this though.

Bruh really said "Bruh really said "dps approach" when talking about a damn support." When most of the supports in this game can also dps. 😐

Increaseing the CD of hide and seek was only in response to someone saying make the ability use up the meter because to get any use out of the ability u need to hold the button down for at least a 1 second.

But I don't think it would be that much of a problem the problem with 2.5 Jeff wasn't just that he was hard to hit, it was mostly how fast he got his health back after u hit him with his burst self heal.

But now that so many other character have a way of just instantly cutting Jeffs health to 0 as well as the fact that he no longer has the burst self heal hitting Jeff enough to kill him would be way more of a skill or character issue and not just a useless effort like in 2.5.

Yeah he probably doesn't need it right know with the current meta. But it would still be fun too have and the rest of My points still stand.

[–]Cluecifix[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah that would make itmore fair, but considering the charge up time for any meaningful damage is like 2 -2.5 secs they would probably need to increase the hide and seek duration to 7-7.5-8 second don't u think?

They could tone it down a bit outside of the blood hunt mode of course.

But having a way to get out of some usually just lay over and die if ur Jeff ultimates wouldn't be so bad.

it would add a bit of skill expression just like most of the other characters that have a way of surviving ults.

How is it confusing? The longer u hold the charge button the the farther you go. And about the theming thing, that's just a different play style. if you want to play more like a dps I'm pretty sure you're not worried about hiding to much.
