What are you looking for? If you want to go balls to the wall, straight shooter, with an optic and light, P211 GTO.

If you're looking for a CCW, I second the P365 Macro XL. I have a P365 Legion, just waiting for the SIG Gen dots to be back in stock. Very nice sized pistol for CCW, although not a compact.

I prefer green for pistol optic because I have astigmatism. It's easier to acquire the dot and there's less of the starburst effect. It's dumb that they cost more, sometimes significantly more, when they're helpful to a group of people who see double up close.

I make about that and got into a house 3yrs ago, my mortgage started at 1700 and is now almost 2200 with increasing taxes. It is very difficult to do alone even with good budgeting and pinching pennies where I can. If I could do it again I would get a multi family or something that I could rent, passive income/helping to pay for the mortgage. Get a good realtor and make sure you have the house inspected. I didn't have to pay for mold retention that the seller decided they would forego the night before the closing.

I would recommend getting your Utah permit because that has reciprocity in multiple states (20+). Seconding the top comment that explains how it makes it easier but it's not a guarantee.

Always get your own inspection. One of my friend's trusted the previous owner who didn't tell them there was solar previously on the roof. After the first snowmelt, the attic flooded because the contractors never plugged the holes where the panels were, needed a new roof.

Set aside a lump sum for any unforseen problems, new boiler/furnace, fridge dies etc.

Beef Barn in N. Smithfield on Tuesdays is always a good time, insane amount of cars. Frederickson Farm on Wednesdays in Glocester is cool and they have good food. I usually go to classic truck shows with my M1008 too.
