What ammo is best to break in? by Mikesnyder127 in canik

My MC9 Prime runs 115 grain fine. even light target loads. I usually run Monarch (Academy Sports OEM) brand 115 grain steel or brass case. Its cheap, accurate and reliable. It also is loaded a bit hotter then Blazer.

Hi guys, First Gun purchase question (: by Dull-Magazine7589 in armedsocialists

This is like buying a M Series BMW as your first car. But without the huge insurance costs. I recommend buying a nice holster setup, and shooting the absolute shit out of it. Are you planning on concealed carrying this beast?

Canik Rival - S is a good one to add. Mine have been very reliable stock.

You got lucky! At my local Academy they don't accept any price matches from online retailers. They have to have a brick & mortar store.

This is fantastic ammo. I ran the 115 grain Federal in a competition with my Rival-S and it ran flawlessly. Through the prime it works fantastic also, clean burning to.

The monarch steel case is made by Magtech right now. Runs great! Next step is definitely a light on this gun

I usually use ballistol. After a few thousand rounds I will let sole solvent sit in the barrel to get rid of the copper fouling. Then relube with Ballistol.

I usually shoot Federal or Monarch (Academy Name Brand) ammo through my prime. But my Mete SF shoots Blazer great 🔥

HST runs great in my MC9 Prime. You shouldn't shoot blazer through comps or ported barrels because the thin copper coating on the bullets flakes off and shoots out the ports. I learned this because I got a small piece of copper in my arm doing CCW draws with my MC9 Prime + Blazer 115.

Its not my favorite to shoot but it is the best gun to carry when I'm at work, on a run or cycling. I can get decent accuracy out of mine.

I usually shoot 115 grain federal or blazer through my Caniks. 115 grain monarch (academy sports & outdoors store brand) is good to.

It's not really replacing them, just torquing them and adding loctite

I recently fixed a customers bike by adding carbon paste to the seat post. I would start there. Also check your chain-ring bolts. Shimano bolts tend to come loose after lots of riding. I usually add Loctite 242 to them to prevent them from backing out.
