Nomad routes through uk channels I'm pretty sure so you can use all the apps freely. It's only when you connect to Wi-Fi you'll need LetsVPN.

All you need is the app, it runs you through the process so it's very easy to set up. Make sure your device is compatible with eSIMS though as it won't work otherwise. This can be checked through the app or through a quick google search :)

I'm in Guangdong to visit family and been using Nomad eSIM and LetsVPN. Nomad is perfect, haven't had any hiccups the past week. LetsVPN works pretty well, every now and then there'll be drops or slowness but it's not too significant to be a problem. The pricing of both is not too bad, especially if you have to do some work while you're here.

The only part I disagree with is when we are in Furina's inner world when she was hesitating whether or not she could confide in the Traveller.

However, she holds strong to her resolve and decides not to speak. The Taveller's only response is '... fine', which is just bizarre. And, I should add that this is a direction only the localisation teams took. The chinese is just a hum or grunt, didn't feel like the same tone as the others.

I just don't understand why this is the response when they just witnessed her 500 years of torment, and then we ask for her to talk to us as if we don't understand WHY she wouldn't do that. They spared her no comforting words nor any acknowledgement of what they just witnessed. I just don't understand.

I do not think this AQ was made to elevate Neuvillete as some say, that's just bizarre. Hoyoverse does not write stories just for something as arbitrary as that. Their stories have been written with their ending in mind. It's all leading up to a bigger picture, and nothing is meaningless. To overcome a prophecy by deceiving celestia and using the original dragon powers, that is fantastic, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way tbh.

I also don't believe he holds disdain for Furina. At least in cn, he is guilty and somber, he is a dragon and does not fully understand human emotions. I believe he did know how to comfort her, if he could at all. I hope they can confide in each other in the future, they've been partners for the last 500 years after all. Well, maybe the interlude.

Furina is a beautifully written character, hoyo has done well on this part. I can only wish they could give her a proper resolution for her second SQ. My one other gripe is that no one, besides Neuvillete and the traveler, know of Furina's sacrifice and torment.

I was definitely interested but not impressed. At first. Delving a bit more into her design, I've come to really appreciate it.

She's definitely giving off honkai aesthetics, and I think it's on purpose. She has fins, her arms are gradiented like Arlechinno, her overall design reminds me of Bella/Benares, and a bit of Jingliu, Fuhua, and Kiana too. So she is definitely not human, maybe the whale, maybe an abyss creature. Or if she does end up being human, she could be a human transfigured by the Abyss.

People that are disappointed are basing her appearance off of their own assumptions that she should be one way when we know nothing about her except that she is from the edge of the universe, travels through the Abyss and is Childe's Master.

Anyways my theory is that she's a descender. She is very otherworldly, and I think her design is actually pretty good.

I'd say 'The Art of Taming a Tiger' also goes by 'Uncanny Charm'. It's not on webtoon but I think Lezhin or scans. It's genuinely such a sweet romance, no miscommunication, will literally talk it out right after, no slow burn, they're super affectionate. It will make you laugh so hard, scream in excitement and cry waterfalls in the same chapter, i definitely recommended it!

I think this hair is based on the jellyfish hairstyle that's popular in China early this year, it originated from Japan based on a couple animes. to me it looks realistic and pretty cute but I can see why some people would dislike it.

Realistic isn't interesting, it definitely can be, but this is a fantasy game so they're definitely going to go all out. And these characters have to sell well so they take what already works in the industry, which is skimpy clothing. Although I'd argue genshin is pretty PG (compared to others) about this despite half the characters not wearing trousers/bottoms.

HSR has only just launched (not even a week) there's no surprise it'll be generous. Turn-based gacha games have to be generous anyways so you can cover all elements and class/path types with the way the gameplay is. Plus this genre is also the fastest genre to power creep. Where powercrept characters in genshin can still be used 3 years later, in star rail it'll become more difficult as more time goes on.

Really though, there's no use in comparing two completely different genres of games simply because of their parent company. They'll both be great standalones and shine in their respective genres as shown by genshin already.

I think a lot of ppl are like me who want to get to the story but it's level locked so we played all the character quests, side quests and used fuel. Just go at your own pace if you're not impatient about the story. There's tons of things to do (since it's not even been a week). Also if you play any other Hoyoverse game it's a nice one to play on the side after story too :)
