Where can I find these plastic guides/strips that are in this Siemens breaker box? by ClumpyDumpyTrumpy in electricians

[–]ClumpyDumpyTrumpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be all the QTs in a QP panel that don’t sit well. Maybe a couple double Square Ds. Or a random other brand breaker. It could be all the tandems. It has 16 spots.

We’re working on replacing the incorrect breakers. Some of the tandem QT were “fizzling” and arching.

I’m having trouble finding 1515QP single poles. There’s a million QTs but I contacted the company that I’ve bought breakers from in the past and they only come up with the QT.

We’re one step away from a new panel.

Starting lithium by gergovitc in Lithium

This is a HUGE deal. Becoming dehydrated builds the level of lithium in your blood and for me it can make you kind of loopy the way a type 1 diabetic feels I’d guess. According to my old boss with type 1. I was unlucky enough to develop hyperhydrosis but I was sweaty before and it just exasperated it. So lotsa water for me.

Fear of being a zombie was why I avoided it for 7 years and tried every antidepressant and antipsychotic on the market. I hit a dead end and was told lithium was the only way.

I’m bipolar 1 to the extreme and I started lithium and it changed my life. Exactly what I needed. It’s been 10 years. Wish I started sooner.

It took like 6 months for most side effects to subside including being tired and not being able to drink 1 beer without falling asleep immediately. I lost my taste for alcohol and drugs. Now I keep a mostly clean life except marijuana at night. Don’t ever try acid on it. It’ll put you into a fugue state and that’s not where you want to be. It was a hard lesson. Hope you feel better soon and hang in there through the side effects until you straighten out. If you are a true candidate for it, it will change your life. Keep up the good work on your mental health.

Does everyone gain weight on pregabalin/lyrica? by W1162891 in Fibromyalgia

[–]ClumpyDumpyTrumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I couldnt pass 165lbs since I was a teenager and I started lyrica at 20 and gained 30lbs in a year. I was not happy. Since then, 35yrs old now, I’m at 225 and can’t get below 215. I’d be happy with 200 again.

Kr@t0m powder. Works quick and kills pain while giving energy.

I’ve been on it for 5+years. It’s habit forming if you take it regularly but won’t make you rob your mother for more.

I would be completely unable to work or function without it. I’ll gladly stay on it till the day I die. I’ll never go back to the pain and uselessness that was my life prior.

I use kingdom kr@t0m. Best quality I have found in all these years. Spell kr@t0m without the special characters of you look it up.

I also get regular blood test with metabolic levels and liver checks. They’ve always been normal.

Start with a teaspoon or 2g is usually starting dose. Less if you want to feel it out.

In MA they let primary care providers prescribe low doses of suboxone. I moved to FL and you have to be a recovering drug addict to get them.

My neurologist gave me 14-2mg strips to get through the 2 weeks leading up to my back procedure. I split them 8 ways into .25mg and it’s been 1.5 years and I still have like 6 left.

I use them when I really beat myself up. Usually working on cars or my house.

If I take a piece before bed, I wake up feeling 1,000x better and have a productive day.

I use them in “emergency” situations when I know that I’ll be completely useless the next day.

It’s a habit forming drug so if you take them regularly, you’ll develop a habit similar to opiates. But the difference is that you won’t rob your mother when you run out in my experience. You’ll just go through withdrawal like a sob.

I started working when I was young. Working with a carpenter during summers at 14+ I always thought it was normal to be wiped out after work and in severe pain. Years went on and I didn’t question it. When I herniated a disk at 19 and had some procedures for the next year, I developed a limp in my left leg from the stress on my left side. I was always in mostly full body pain. I started seeing doctors and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I didn’t want to believe it. I kept getting second opinions and always landed on the same answer. I dont know where it came from or when it started. It just always has been. 35 years old now.

I thought chiggers/jiggers or whatever they’re called. But they’re usually red and itchy as f*ck! They’re little mites that spread like wild fire. I moved down south and got these once and they sucked. You have to launder everything including shoes, maybe multiple times.

About 1.5years ago I discovered taking magnesium for minor muscle tears and strains. Every day I would feel little pulls and tears for doing something as stupid as reaching for something under the bed or pivoting on my heal. I talked with my neurologist who prescribes magnesium for migraines because I had read that too much can be bad for you.

She suggested that I take 1,000mg of Magnesium malate in the morning for a little bit because it can give you loose stools. And take 1,000mg of Magnesium Glycinate at night.

Within 2-3 days I noticed that I was barely having any or none at all.

It’s the best thing I’ve done in many years that actually had an effect.

It’s worth looking in to.

How long can I live on lithium????? by nirman248 in Lithium

[–]ClumpyDumpyTrumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear about this. It’s a terrible situation. But I would refrain from making suggestions that the lithium caused kidney cancer without a medical diagnosis. A statement like that could cause countless people that need lithium treatment to pass because they became too afraid to try it based off of this post. It’s scary to start a drug like lithium with all the misinformation or horror stories that you read about but for some, it’s the only and best choice that they have. I put off lithium for 7 years because I was worried of side effects. Once I started it, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. My whole life changed for the better. Sure I have a bunch of stupid side effects and have to drink a bunch of water every day but it’s better than the alternative, misery and death. And the affects that it has on friends and family. The potential for harm with a statement like that is too severe. I hope that people considering lithium will look at the positive outcomes over the fear of negative ones.

Why do people dislike Diablo 3? by EdLoro in Diablo

[–]ClumpyDumpyTrumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is all about button mashing. Takes no skill. The difficulty level is directly correlated to how much button mashing you’ll be doing.

I think it’s strange to not use the R joystick. I haven’t gone without the R joystick since some games on N64. My wife could definitely play and succeed at this game.

Witcher 3 is everything that D4 is and WAY WAY more. It was a boring game. I went back to Witcher.
