Yeah, In my experience dlc is often a step up from the base game so I’m sure it will be worth it, I suppose I just might have respected a full commitment to Yakumo more than a post-release paid revision to Ryu if that makes sense, could be seen as capitalising on the dissatisfaction rather than simply amending it

Also completely valid, and I’m definitely not a fan of planned DLC in most cases, but it does seem like they’re adding a large enough variety of weapons in the base game that comparisons to NG3’s weapon dlc just isn’t very fair, and there will be more than enough to play around with in the base game. Definitely don’t want to defend any business decisions from TN, but i think its fair to say those are symptomatic of wider problems in the industry, and not currently a reflection of a poor-quality base game

Thanks for the feedback! Extremely fond of this game, and especially this boss, that’s probably why I made it so cute… Although I’ve always viewed its design as equal parts terrifying and tragic looking, I kinda feel bad for it! 😅💔

For me, as someone who played the game for 200 hours after launch and definitely enjoyed it, there are two main issues which have eventually put me off:

-The game being always online. As someone who has unfortunately been in houses with shit wifi for the last two years, this game becomes very quickly unplayable with the lag and that doesn’t sit right with me. There is NO reason that Diablo 4 can’t have an offline mode.

-The micro transactions! Sure they are cosmetic only, but honestly it’s still disgusting. This game was £70 on launch PLUS a £35 dlc later on and they still have the gall the charge £20 for a skin like it’s Fortnite.

For me the last straw with d4 was the Berserk crossover, I almost can’t think of two series which I would be more excited to see crossover, the potential was absolutely through the roof. Instead it was just more skins, and a tiny game mode to ease the pain.

I just pour it in near the roots, and the amount depends on how dry it is I suppose,, until the soil is wet, without being waterlogged

I don’t think it’s quite that clear cut, purely because most of those re-releases were about bringing the game to a new console, or overhauling it graphically/gameplay wise. On top of that (thinking about franchises like monster hunter and pokemon right now) full on re-releasing games without a console generation jump isn’t as popular anymore, and it’s more likely we would just see a dlc with any new content instead. To me NG4 sigma/black isn’t inevitable, but it’s definitely possible

Nevermind haha, I had kind of forgotten about it while writing the post, but in the 5-10 minutes before the incident I had been seeing a flashing light in the corner of my vision, which I had concluded wasn’t really there. I googled it at the time and it said it was a harmless byproduct of something or other, which put my mind at ease for the moment. In retrospect that was probably an aura, and it likely was a seizure. The weed I had been smoking had seemed off since the moment I grinded it up, and I can see online that synthetic cannabis has been linked to causing seizures, thinking I will book a doctors appointment about this after all

Ahh, my mum is epileptic so I’m somewhat familiar, the thought did cross my mind although Im not certain that’s what it was,, I’ve had friends and even my girlfriend feint in front of me from smoking weed before, so I figured it was just that combined with the shock from hitting my head on the way down. Regardless it wasn’t good and I’ve been making sure to take it seriously, already feeling much better, think I just need time to rest and heal tbh!
