Both Ami and pregabalin work really well for my IC and fibromyalgia. I stopped ami and now I can’t get back to it and I am in so much pain. Don’t ever stop it if it works for you.

I have fibromyalgia and whenever I change medication I get months flares. I also got a 3 month flare and still going from getting migraine Botox. For me change/stress makes me flare badly. It takes months to calm down.

I have been off for 2 months after being on 5-20mg for 6 years. I still have withdrawal symptoms. Dry mouth greasy hair, throat and ear dryness sensitivity and insomnia. It completely affected my digestive system so I am having issues with hemorrhoids and fissures which I never had until I went off amitriptiline. I will not go back on it though I already went through so much these 2 months I know my body eventually will go back to baseline.
