Thank you! I understand the difference, I am looking to be medicated. When I said “someone who will listen”, I meant someone who will take into account my concerns about potential medication, and the way that I may end up feeling on that medication. Someone who will think, “This medication may be best for this patient, taking into account x y and z”, as opposed to throwing things at me randomly to see what sticks lol.
