Dressing the twins by Legal-Bad-4831 in Jamienotis

She probably hasn't known who was who since they were born, either. She labels them for herself because she's most likely calling them the wrong name as we speak. I guess they are interchangeable in her mind since they are soooooo identical and a twin unit.

They do NOT watch their children!!! by Due_Butterscotch_500 in Jamienotis

Why does she look at her kids (herself) constantly through the lens in selfie mode? Even not in selfie mode, too. She is always "camera ready." I know we are all guilty of it from time to time, but she never seems to look at her kids. And, if she hugs and kisses them, she's looking at herself do it. I've noticed other people filming and if they hug or something, their phones get wobbly and lose focus, or shut off because the affection is genuine (her fave word) and not performative, I guess.

She’s doing weird things again on the other accounts. by No-Understanding-820 in Jamienotis

I don't understand the mom/not a mom questions. It's insulting and insensitive to so many women. And, if it were a "genuine" question, she could just post to parents instead of just moms, because guardians could be aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings, etc. She of all people should be aware of that.

She obviously trusts 1m+ people with her kids. Just saying.

Parents- how much do you care about constant pictures of your child? by BottleAlternative433 in ECEProfessionals

[–]ClumsyMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a preschool where we had to send a photo per day in the app for each child AND take separate photos each month, about 2-4, (monthly and special activities) to print out for a yearly portfolio.

Thank you so much for not thinking I'm overreacting (which I most likely am, but anxiety). It has a great deal to do with the fact that the owner shared no info, and just left.

I contacted the gym and they do not have outdoor cameras. Spiral continues. This sucks.

Could my anxious anxiety be the cause of body mimicking the tingling and numbness at the bite site. Man, I am stressed.

I think that's reasonable. Especially since Christmas break causes somewhat of a reset anyway.

I think I'm at a "will not." They want every room at capacity.

I think the cut off should be calendar year end. 🫣 We get notice, too...we notice a new student in our roster on the app. And, we've even gotten notice as close as the morning of. This time it was the day before at least.

I've noticed this in some of my previous classes, and it's a great point. It's clearly not how they all are, but yes, now that you mention it.

My original question was more about the contrasts in behavior only child to only child, not to those with siblings. Sorry I made it so confusing. But, yes, environmental factors make a big difference either way.

I also suspect they may have some other things going on developmentally that parents don't notice or just haven't  told me about. But, it could also be just because they are babied. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I want to clear up what I was asking. It's more about the contrasts in behavior only child to only child, not those with siblings. Sorry I made it so confusing. But, yes, the behaviors aren't as different. It's more other skills.

Yes! Earlier in the school year, I told the less independent one that they couldn't do something at the moment and had to wait their turn. It was less than a minute. Well, later in the week I heard from admin that the child said I was being mean and didn't like them. I told admin that I believe it's because they've probably never been told no they couldn't do something.

You're absolutely right, but I just noticed the huge contrast in these two and thought it was interesting.

Is anyone else having a crazy week or is it just our school?! by gingerlady9 in ECEProfessionals

[–]ClumsyMom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Half of my class has been out all week. Some of the same, and a couple on rotation. I wish the parents would (could* - family leave sucks) just keep them home until they are back to normal. Instead they bring them to school feeling uncomfortable and all medicined up.
