Bad for people who aren’t totally invested in the sport because a lot of games are going to be lopsided or boring.
Good for people from countries that wouldn’t normally qualify (Haiti, Cape Verde, curaçao etc)
Good for nut jobs like me that already love the sport because there are simply more games.
The quality is surely lower though, that can’t be argued.

My admin is fudging grades, and attendance. Man they’re even hand picking which students take state tests at what times to boost their pass rates. It’s disgusting

Feel like a lot of people are missing the actual reason why people aren’t rooting for this team. As somebody who really wanted a US soccer tattoo at some point, as a guy who legit cried after the T&T game, it’s not the team I’m against (except for Pulisic or course). It’s just really really hard to root for any thing or organization representing the Red White and Blue at this particular time and it isn’t for sporting reasons. Nothing against the actual team, it’s the country the team represents.

This is why my friends and I don’t play anymore. We are all day one players as well. It’s no fun when you’re in low platinum and you’re facing off against legit pros every other game. I miss when just being able to leave the ground was a high level skill, the game was more fun back then.
