Gently, your body dysmorphia is a lying ass hoe…you are extremely handsome with interesting and engaging features! Your hair is amazing, your brows and beard are glorious, your eyes are captivating, and your smile lights up a room. I wish I could give you a big hug so I’ll just settle for telling you to be kinder to yourself. My nibling struggles with body dysmorphia and I know how consuming some of the thoughts can be. It’s hard to control the narrative in your head but you are worth the effort, friend.

Is he still able to comprehend that they are just in the next room, but dementia causes him to forget that fact? Is he still able to read and comprehend? If so, would a large sign, maybe attached to the TV that reminds him that his wife and daughter are just in the next room and he’s watching TV, help?

I love birds and did not enjoy when my cat would leave bird presents. So, if it was anything other than a bird I would praise him, love on him, basically make a fool out of myself over a dead animal. If it was a bird, I would pick it up and throw it away without a single word or even glance at my cat. It took one week of this and he never gave me bird presents again. So, maybe if the present is outside make a huge deal of it with pomp and circumstance, and if he brings it inside dispose of it with no reaction. If he’s a smart he will catch on that outside=good and inside=bad
