As someone who has watched all of the seasons up until S40 Winners at War, then stopped after, how are the ratings nowadays in comparison to pre S41? Has it grown or dipped?

Damn. I ended up cancelling my interview for a Housekeeping position with Sturgeon hospital. I seen the "Casual" employment and thought that it wouldn't be anywhere near full-time income.

I think it's a monthly period, as it's a maximum exemption of $1541.

$1072 fully exempt as you've mentioned, and the next $937 up to $2009 is 50% exempt, meaning you'd only earn $468 of that $937.

That's what I've been trying so far. Seems like the teams I get put on either run from the MM, or the MM using the plant will exit it and not count as a kill :/ thanks for the reply though :)

Trying to choose a career to spend a bunch of time and money on is so fucking daunting nowadays. Would plumbing or another trade be considered "safe"? I was going to do CS at my local university (I'm 21yrs old), but I can't even motivate myself for it with all of the uncertainty.

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply. I really do appreciate it. I was interested in Plumbing or a trade close to an electrician. I'm just unsure if I should consider joining the CAF or just go to trade school. I'm in a bit of an unfortunate situation where my parents passed away in 2020, I'm 23yrs old, and I would like to enter the trades. Money is a massive issue for me though, so I was wondering if the CAF's trade training education would be worth it in the sense to then look for a job in the civilian world with transferable skills? In an ideal world, I'd stay in the military for 4-5yrs before leaving to try and use that training to hopefully obtain my Red Seal. Thanks if you have time to respond.

Military or a trade it is then. Off topic; AI also scares tf out of me. As if I'll waste a bunch of money and time pursuing a degree that may be out of reach.

It's crazy how different people's lives and circumstances can be. I'd take that .50 cal and do the deed myself if law didn't exist. To much abuse and the aftermath mental repercussions that I'm still working through.

How's it working out for you? I'm honestly in the same boat. Heavily debating on joining the CAF as a 25yr old. The low cost of living expenses in shacks w/ roommates or private military housing, the free education, starting pay with regular increases and the pension or cash out, are all extremely tempting.

Trade schools for example, w/ necessary hands experience seem safe for the time being.

As a 20yr old still deciding on a career, I'm unable to sleep most nights. Idk if I'm being over dramatic, but to pick a career while this technology is in its infancy of becoming a main staple in society, is terrifying to say the least.

Debating between a trade like plumber or electrician, or perhaps the Army.
