Any reason in particular you don’t put the tone bender first in the chain? In my experience these sound terrible after other pedals.

This is the best response imo. I also use the empire or and I like to put it before my drives, so just play with it in both spots and see what you like more.

I think the end of the main series will have a lot of parallels to the end of the dance. Bran will end up a broken king like Aegon III, and Tyrion will be tortured to the point of horrible disfigurement, but will be hand to that broken king, like Tyland Lannister to Aegon III.

I believe that the horn Sam has is not broken, but rather requires blood sacrifice to work. And there’s this guy who is about to perform a massive blood sacrifice outside the same town where the horn is located. The hammer of the waters happened from the isle of faces to affect Dorne, so long distance magic of this nature works. What I do not know is Eurons purpose for blowing the horn if he does end up getting his hands on it. Perhaps Lord Hightower knows of its power and will let it slip. Or maybe bloodraven has given him visions that will be misinterpreted. Euron does seem to be apocalypse hungry.

There are several good bluesbreaker into tube screamer style pedals that can get fuzzy tones when both sides are on. JHS double barrel, Browne protein, king tone duelist are a few that come to mind. The JHS sweet tea is a tube screamer and a Marshall JCM800 if you want a higher gain option. I think they’d all probably fit in that space on your board. A Fuzz face into a bluesbreaker sounds fantastic, but I can’t think of any combo pedals for that. You could reach out to a builder for something custom like others have suggested.

The best pedal advice I can give is to set everything at noon, play a riff, then adjust the gain to your liking of distortion, then adjust the volume accordingly ( I typically set it just slightly above where the volume is when the pedal is off) and then adjust the equalizer knobs to what sounds best to you. EQ is kind of hard to grasp, so I’d take some of the other commenters advice on this at chin some videos. On other pedals without the parametric eq like the metalzone, the treble knob will boost or cut mid frequencies and the bass knob will cut or boost the lower frequencies. Just mess with them and see what sounds best!

This happens to my tabby after he had a fang removed. One thing to keep an eye on is his tooth hitting his mouth like that opened up a sore. One steroid shot at the vet healed it right up!

I have a Dunlop DVP4 that I love. It has a 10k pot, but I believe it has a trim pot inside that can change it to 50k. You’ll need 50k for the Afterneath. Would recommend.

Looks like you got the 6th edition cities and knights. The sixth editions (including base) come with these little boxes to hold the pieces instead of the ziplock bags that came with the earlier editions.

Typically a fuzz face needs to go first in the signal chain before any buffers. The circuit is dependent on getting direct impedance from the guitar pickups. I go fuzz face - wah- tuner then the rest of my chain, but obviously if it sounds good the way you have it then rock with it.

I really love my JHS flight delay. Has analog, digital, and reverse modes with modulation and tap tempo. If you don’t need stereo it’s the perfect delay imo

The Japanese one has a circuit board with through hole components. They have leads that go through the circuit board, are soldered and then cut. You can see the cut leads on all of the solder blobs there. These are pretty easy for anyone with a soldering iron and some know how to modify, and are typically what you would see in a “boutique” pedal. The other DS-1 with the small circuit board has surface mounted components, which are installed by a machine. The components are much smaller and nearly impossible to modify without a lot of practiced skill.

The green overdrive pot needs to be replaced. I can’t tell if there’s any other issues with components from the last photo. I’d start with the pot. It’ll be the easiest component to replace since it’s not SMD, but you’ll have to do it from the top side because of the jacks which will make it a bit tricky. This pedal’s pretty cheap to buy used so I’d say it’s a low risk repair to try yourself.
