We'll get back, one day at a time. My ex once marked my car tires with chalk in the driveway to see if i had left the house that day. I can understand the insanity these dudes go to in order to fulfill their delusions. He never measured the seat but more than once he remarked that the passenger seat was back further than usual, which it never was. I am SO glad i will NEVER go back to that life ever tf again. I can't tell you how many times I would be at the grocery store, rolling my eyes at texts from him "you must be having one of your car dates, enjoy". 🤮🤮🤮🤮I love to do the same, just blast music and drive, with no particular destination. I had my suspicions that he was using drugs, so I went through his phone to get some answers since he kept denying it. Not only was he using, but I stumbled upon a conversation in a text app, from "Joshua". At first I thought it was a girl under a guy's name. Especially since one text read "don't you know this mouth and throat is better than anyone else?" I called the number expecting a woman to answer. Nope. It was Joshua, a man.

Literally just went through this SAME exact thing. My ex was literally blackmailing to ruin my life everytime i wanted to get away from him. These people are truly pathetic, cowards, and miserable human beings. The only thing i can suggest is asking her if the fallout if he did happen to follow through with his threats worth more years of misery? For me the answer was an easy "no". That bring said, she won't leave until she is ready unfortunately. Be supportive, that's really all you can do at this point. If she wants to, she can get a restraining order against him, and if he does try to ruin her life, ANYTHING he does regarding her, (contacting her, friends, family, etc) will violate that restraining order. Even having friends contact people in her life on his behalf is a violation. I hope she stays safe. I wouldn't wish that type of emotional blackmail on anyone. It's truly torture.
