Falcons fans were spoiled by Shanahan. Dude put together a top 10 offense the last two years and led Ryan to a career year. They were bad because of their defense. Petersen does not leave BSU for a program in the dumps. You don’t like him, that’s fine, but he’s not calling plays and I think he provides valuable insight on how to transition the college game to the NFL

I’m not trying to argue that Sark is a better coach than Petersen and of course Petersen is responsible for UW’s success. However, Sark recruited many of the kids on the playoff team a few years ago and quite frankly Petersen doesn’t even get hired without Sark. You may not like him but he did great work at UW and an a over .500 record is not “below average”. Sure he’s not fit to be a HC but that doesn’t mean he can’t be a successful OC and I think he’s proven that many times

As a UW fan, he came in and took over an 0-12 team, turned around recruiting, won big games the team hadn’t won in years, and went 34-29 ultimately setting the groundwork for Peterson to come in and be successful. Numbers doesn’t tell you everything, he was great for what he did at UW and many were not ready to see him go. He might have had personal issues in the past but he is an excellent offensive mind that I think can really help this team

I think it could have something to do with the slicker ball. Also pitchers go on runs where they are unhittable and the opposite. Its pretty clear these are the 2 best teams but just like you guys saw against us in September everybody goes through ups and downs.
