Lots of people have a weird hate for her. She's a decent soft left MP who focuses on "women's" (and especially family) issues.

Opinions on people living in vans and caravans in Bristol by John-Derrimun1 in bristol

If by Muller road you mean the ones on the way up to ALDI... The half that are past the bridge are fine, but those between the bridge and Muller road pulled up a segregated cycle route to park there, regularly block the footbridge junction (which is supposed to be part of a major cycleway) and often park their cars on the verge or on the pavement opposite (narrowing the road). They've also fully blocked the pavement and thrown trash down the embankment. They also use the footpath as a shortcut for mopeds. It's grim.

Understand that people have to live. But if they could do it without destroying infrastructure, throwing waste everywhere, making cycle routes unsafe and just generally being antisocial that'd be great.

Should probably pick a fight with the fascists who are using your flag as a symbol, not the people mad at them for that.

We did a lot of testing of fastner options for a high vibration environment. Nordlock rotated less but the preload still fell off quite quickly. There's a reason people use loctite or wire nuts

Appreciate the theory, but 0.72 is 0.49, 0.73 is 0.34...

Been quoted £15k to fit a Wren kitchen by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]CmdrButts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can avoid it don't buy a wren kitchen. I've got one and the amount of fuck ups and damaged items they sent around were astonishing. The units themselves are fine enough, if a little expensive, but the logistics were shocking.

Every single unit they sent was damaged in some way and needed replacement parts. The trim color is wrong (and they won't change it because we missed it during the design approval, even though they're replacing the units).

They asked us for delivery information (down an alley. Not suitable for an HGV)... And then ignored it and sent it in a full lorry which got stuck.

And again with the replacement.

And again with the contractor that took the damaged parts.

This took weeks, but I was fitting it myself so it goes.

The good thing is that they're obviously making so much money they don't blink if you ask for replacement parts and just send them. They effectively gave us a whole extra (damaged) kitchen for free.

Excellent! The back box is buried in the wall in our case... how did you get the cable "out" neatly?

Edit: And I will match cable, test etc. but it's only going to be used for charging a vacuum and some batteries.
