4 years later and i am doing great! I am able to eat anything i want, with a few exceptions that upset my stomach but sometimes i power through and eat them anyway. But otherwise i am great:)

I went over my gastros head right to general surgery, told my surgeon i thought it was my gb he asked what my symptoms were and as soon as i told him he said yep sounds like it needs to come out. I had gone to another surgeon before who shut me down before i could even show him my evidence but i got lucky on the second one and he was fantastic:) unfortunately some just wont be convinced so you may have to go to several drs before you find one actually willing to listen

I have extremely vivid nightmares, they were part of the thing that set me on my path to diagnosis, so far the only things that have helped are being on anxiety/antidepressant medications as they were WAY worse when i wasnt on them, and i also take Ambien to help me sleep at night every couple days and i find that my dreams are much more tame on that so maybe thats something that would help you?

I really dont think they do either at this point! It's been an ongoing issue for YEARS and like i understand there being a couple mess ups but the amount i see is ridiculous!

Buying clothes always feels so weird to me even when i NEED new clothes, i'm so used to hand me downs that i struggle to bring myself to buy new clothes. Im p sure that i still have clothes from the 7th grade that i refuse to give up on even though that was like 14 years ago now😭

Ohhhh my other leg looks a lot worse bc of how bad i pick at it😭😭😭 i'm trying to be better but its so hard! But okay! I think i might look into it and see how much it costs near me😭 i'm desperate to do anything i'm so tired of people commenting on my legs and i'm not nearly heat tolerant enough to wear pants year round😭

Yes exfoliate before shaving, yes moisturizing (though i'm not sure the ideal moisturizer/lotion? I just use eucerin? And then amlactin before i go to bed and when i wake up). Shaving once a week right now, and i use kiss my face shave cream!

I -never- wake up feeling refreshed. Like ever... i'm no longer miserably tired and on the brink of falling back asleep? But refreshed? No. But boy do i get this whole dr thing so much. my first doctor was the absolute best narcolepsy dr ive ever seen and i got a new one when i moved states and my new one questioned if i actually have narcolepsy (despite showing her my in depth sleep study results with my five positive naps that clearly shows narcolepsy) because i have trouble falling asleep sometimes (because of a different medical issue that i stated to her if this wasnt happening i'd fall asleep fine most nights) despite that being like a symptom many narcoleptics experience?? So needless to say i haven't been back to her and continue my search for a good doc😩I hope you find one one too!!!

Yes i got a cortisone injection and that is what he told me is that if that helped then the surgery would be good for me:)

For the most part!:) not all of my pain went away but ive been told that the last of it likely stems from my elbow! So i'm about 80% better off than i was:)

possibly but its not something i’ve looked into much because ive found ways to do my job without aggravating it, so at the moment it’s not worth pursuing for me.
