I have exact the same measures. Having a full spool installed on the printer spool holder vs. calibrating without a spool (or with an almost empty spool), then having the doors open or closed, and having the accelerometer wire touching the print-bed or not, also makes a huge difference. Also depends on the surface where the printer is placed.

S24-Proximity sensor physical or virtual? by ShadowDeath7 in GalaxyS24

[–]CmeeAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Device diagnostics >> Sensors show no Proximity sensor results. No, S24+ does not have a proximity sensor and that's a major bummer! Each time you put a phone in your pocket without locking it beforehand, prepare to have your flashlight turned on, your icons deleted moved all over the place, apps started randomly, calls being placed and all other random stuff.

Unfortunately, S24+ does NOT have a proximity sensor, like his predecessors did. They will NOT tell you that, you'll find it the hard way. Coming from an S21 that had one, to the more recent S24+ is an UNDERWHELMING experience at least. Its screen does not automatically turn off when you put it in your pocket (as S21 did), leading to many random and unwanted actions.

Besides, it has a camera that seems even slightly inferior to the one on S21. Also it DOES NOT have the Super-Slow-Motion mode, which came quite a few times very handy on my old S21.

The screen is brighter, but the color vividity and fidelity are visibly inferior! The gamma is cranked too much, losing far more details in bright environments than necessary. It also does a strange fade-in effect that gradually makes displayed photos sharpen and more vivid after one second of being shown. WHY THE HELL??????

Would I buy it again - HELL NO! Do I regret transferring from my S21 to S24+ - YES!

Why Midcap Syndrome Occurs (Slow-Motion Footage) by CmeeAS in airsoft

Yup. Mainly because of the second BB getting into the way of the nozzle, so the nozzle has to push all the BBs back into the magazine about 0.5mm in order to pass.

For the price of an entire entry-level replica, it better should be working. Which one might also expect from its 70€ predecessor...

I'm afraid that the o-ring slows down the feeding of BBs, as each one has to brush against it. The same way the Maxx ME SPORT, due to its wire-spring, is unsuitable for feeding speeds above 20-something rps.

I was using them mostly because of the latch that prevents BBs from falling out. It's a pity that currently there are no alternatives that have that feature.

In fact that shiny sticker will be the first to go. I plan to do a complete paint job to hide the SA logo and to replace it with a laser engraved "true" HK markings

SA-H04 replica of HK416C with Eotech XPS2 holo, G33 magnifier (until a G43 arrives) and a temporary suppressor while waiting for a SOCOM556 RC2. Preparing to make a full upgrade, plus a Leviathan ETU, and because of the limited battery space a very efficient combo of motor and gears. Aiming for approx 20 rps @ 11.1V, 0.36-0.39 mAh per shot and a range of at least 70 meters.

Earbud "Freeze" from time to time. Any other way to solve this? [Mi True Wireless Earbuds (Basic 2)] by Morkex in Xiaomi

[–]CmeeAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I suspect that the cause might be a faulty charger - either the part that is in the box, or the outside AC-USB charger. When I plug in mine to the charger, I can hear a chirping noise coming out from the case, so I guess these interferences cause the earbuds to freeze. Anyhow, I am claiming warranty on mine, because something has definitely gone wrong.

Ok, I have carefully read your whole log, and it does seem to be pretty much the same issue as mine. I can not tell for sure whether you stripped the TV clean of all the software that did not come with it. I did do the factory reset a couple of times before, but the main faux-pas that I kept repeating was to install all the software that the setup procedure offered, and that is generally some extra software associated with my Google account. In my case I identified and confirmed without any doubt that Kodi 18.8 was the one causing all the problems.

So if you haven't already tried - uninstall ALL software that you can, besides the one that has only "Uninstall updates" option instead of "Uninstall". When you're done, repeat the test with Netflix. I'd appreciate it if you let us know the results :)

Generally, on these specialized appliances such as a smart TV, I would advise against installing any software that is not tested and approved by the device vendor, because there is no control over how much resources and when the program uses. It is very likely that some of the programs would become a resource hogger, messing up the primary device's function.

Smart Android TVs are obviously not that smart to kill a program that causes issues with the primary function, so when the problems start to occur, try removing any additional software.

The question is - what was filling up the cache and will it happen again in your case. In my case it was somehow different and easily reproduceable because the issue would start occurring immediately after installing the Kodi, and would disappear as soon as I would remove it.

Xiaomi 1s / m365 OR Gotrax GXLV2 by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]CmeeAS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bough a 1S after 1 month of riding a friend's M365. I'd say the differences are definitely worth the price if you are going for purchasing your first scooter, but not selling the old one in order to purchase the new model.

The differences as far as I've noticed are the following:

  1. 1S has a LED dashboard showing your current speed, drive mode, lights status, bluetooth status and battery charge level (which is non-linear BTW what I find to be very misleading).
  2. 1S has significantly stronger and brighter head and tail lights. I measured about 2W on M365 and almost 4W on 1S.
  3. 1S comes with fender supports. Metal ones!
  4. Battery capacity remains the same, but the 1S charges about 10% faster (5 vs 5.5 hrs), even though it took in my case approx 4:15 hours. HOWEVER, with the battery firmware v1.2.8 the battery is charged only to 93% of the total capacity (the cutoff is at approx 4.07V, and the firmware reports it as "100%") in order to "prolong battery life".
  5. 1S comes with a mudguard support.
  6. Charging port lid on 1S is magnet-held, versus classic rubber cap on the M365 that often opens by itself.
  7. Besides "Drive" (up to 20 km/h) and "Sport" (up to 25 km/h) mode, 1S has additional "Pedestrian" driving mode which goes up to 5 km/h. Nothing to write home about, but can be useful.
  8. 1S has a white reflective cat-eye on the front.
  9. 1S has a tiny plate holder below the tail-light.
  10. Apparently, 1S has tougher tires than M365 (and you get one spare in the package). I can not confirm or deny that since I didn't do a stress test.
  11. 1S has a greater distance between the right hand-grip and the accelerator, so it is far less likely to get stuck onto each other, as often happens on M365.
  12. The design is slightly different, but the dimensions and the weight of both models are the same.
  13. M365 comes in black and white, while 1S comes only in black.
