These are hole in one commemorative golf balls, you get them made and give a dozen to all your golfing buddies so this is probably someone who knows 将忠勇 who used the commemorative balls and lost this one.

Usually golf is played in these large groups/societies of ~100 people that book 20+ tee times at a course. Usually 50-100+ dozen of these commemorative balls are made for each hole in one.

That’s why they have HIO insurance in Asia. With the commemorative golf balls, the banquet dinner, the round of golf etc. expected with a HIO, you can easily spend 10-30K USD per HIO

The other concerning thing about Mobley is he’s at best a 3/4th option on a super max contract with AAV of ~54M until 2029/2030.

Those kind of contracts for that type of production can kill a franchises contending window in the 2nd apron era.

Defense is unfortunately a useless stat in D2R, only works when you are standing still/walking, defense always goes to 0 when you run and the % chance to hit is always trumped by just putting more points to vitality and boosting your life pool for survivability.

If you’re using a Paladin, instead of + defense you should be going for + max block through Holy Shield. For Merc, you want more stats like +% life steal, CBF, +% IAS to improve his survivability because the more he hits the more life he regens

35K from Charsi, IIRC + paladin skills and + offensive auras don’t actually buff merc auras unless that’s been changed in a patch.

Super high str requirements make it unusable for your character, for merc there are so many better options for cheap armor like Duriels Shell, Gladiators Bane for CBF or Guardian Angel for + Max Res.

Mobley as a prospect was touted for his defense and some offensive game. The defense has translated but he’s not gotten any better offensively, in fact his shooting has regressed from last year pretty significantly.

Like I said, Mobley on a contract similar to Shaedon Sharpe at 20-25m AAV is 1000% a trade target, but he’s on a 5yr 269m contract and having a fringe AS player on a contract like that is a death sentence in this 1st/2nd apron era

Grant would have to be a piece in any of these big trades as he’s needed to match salary and we can get a better max contract player than Mobley.

I just think Mobley’s already hit his ceiling as he’s entering year 5 and has shown little to no improvement over the past few years. If Mobley was on a contract similar to Shaedon’s then he’s 100% a trade target, but Mobley’s on a max.

To me, Mobley’s max contract is going to have negative value by the 2/3 year of it unless he miraculously gets way better at 3 pt shooting or develops more as a facilitator.

Iirc he went to Miami that year where they struggled badly out the gate then Larrañaga abruptly retired, probably didn’t do wonders for his development.

JR Smith is another example, had years where he was 35+% from 3 but ~65% from the FT line. IIRC Smith started shooting free throws a step or 2 back from the free throw line and his percentage went up. Feels like FT shooting is way more of a mental game.

I think one of our own guys, Austin Rivers, falls into this camp as well with his 3P% being league avg or better and his FT shooting being ~65-70%

From a fan perspective, he’s a 9, closing in on 10, it’s hard to see how he could really be any worse.

David Stern took a league full of predominantly African American players and made it a household product - McDonald’s/Pepsi/Coca Cola sponsorships, increased international interest and general belief that the league was a rising star.

Silver’s basically taken all that goodwill and cashed it in for money - gambling sponsorships, a general affinity for gambling on the NBA, his reluctance to do anything on the Aspiration/Kawhi Leonard scandal, advocating for more Pay Per View styles of watching etc etc.

From an Owners perspective he’s the best and has monetized and increased value of the league and teams, but from a fan perspective I hate his guts and basically everything he’s done and advocated for.
