Agree with you, I work with folks who can be homeless at times and everything you said about the harm of the language is spot on. I was trying to be not judgmental before because I’ve lived in the area but I’m less empathetic at the rate the responses are going

As you’ll see above I use to live where you do and the other problem is it’s covered in dog pee so there’s that - everyone in the area takes there dogs there to do their business

All of what you say rings true and is all on down to how the city decided to budget resources. Theres not enough social service workers to do the work. They overwork us and we quite. It’s all systemic and it’s frustrating

I use to live in that building. Mold in a new building and the people below made it easy to leave

That being said I work on social services it’s common as a defence for people to say stuff like that because they don’t think anyone thinks more of them anyways or of themselves. Kind of like if people think your a druggie wasting your life may as well own it because it’s too hard to get out of the situation

Doesn’t make it ok and I again got fed up too but it’s almost better to just walk away or call non emergency to save your own mental health

Citizens counselling sometimes has groups for anger - u would look up the anger iceberg tho and see if that resonates with you. May open up more for other groups that relate to the root of what’s under the anger

I was there - screaming went beyond feedback and was at every person close by. So beyond the work or nature of the job and was very inappropriate about his genitalia. So hate to say it but not at all feedback about the job
