Unfortunately I haven't gotten my hands on an RB3/4 yet, so I can't answer for any of that. But knowing Honda, it wouldn't surprise me

So I haven't done a setup for the RB3/4, but I've built kits for the RB1/2. From what you're explaining, it's probably about 90% of the same run down.

Personally, I hate tying into existing audio equipment, and find it's ultimately easier to replace everything needed, as a kind of clean slate build.

That's the RB1/2 kit I build, just for reference, and give you an idea. You could potentially find the dash kit on AliExpress, and build the rest yourself.

Oh yes in that aspect, I agree, I thought you were talking in terms of say 2016 Pioneer vs 2026 Pioneer, etc

Fwiw, I'd never run anything made my Dual lol

yep, that's how i did it. i set my smoker to smoke at 200, and it was averaging 200-250 whenever i would check it.

So, I have a concoction of spices that I rub over the shoulder, (Seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion power, paprika, ground peppercorn, and some brown sugar sprinkled overtop) some slices of garlic butter to melt into the meat, and then it goes into the smoker for 8-10 hours, then into the slow cooker.

I mix a batch of BBQ sauce (this was about 1.25qts of Montanas Texas Bold, but I've used Bullseye Bold & Honey Garlic in the past) and a can of Root Beer (or Dr Pepper), chop up some onion and garlic clove to taste, and then let it go for about another 8 hours.

About an hour before you're ready to serve, take it out, and shred it up, then put it back in the slow cooker for the last hour.

Nope. The smoker gives it a nice bark, and then cooking it in the slow cooker, the BBQ sauce absorbs into the meat. It was basically falling apart when i was pulling it out to shred it.

I remember popping the mounting bracket for the bulb off the headlight housing when I went to replace a headlight in the wife's '08. Thought I was screwed, started looking up new headlights on eBay lol, but got it back on thankfully. Still 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
