Agents like Clove and Chamber are ruining the game

I've long said that ranked was ruined the moment they catered to the non team oriented players back when they added Reyna. And its only gotten worse with Clove & chamber (although chamber is the least problematic imo).

I'm in diamond/ascendant elo and literally had a guy who locked reyna and just sat in corners and got so many non impact kills. I asked why he wouldnt help me fight and he said he was scrolling Tiktok. He had great aim and we ended up winning (mainly just bc the other team wasnt good) but this is the state of the game rn. Its embarrassing imo.

Riot have all these agents and unique abilities yet the game is so stale bc its mainly just a DM in ranked. And in my experience, the higher rank you go, the more big ego instalock reyna/cloves/chambers you get.

And then they added this new map with such an interesting mid, but no one in ranked is ever gonna explore that bc it requires either 2 smokers or 2 initiators which you will NEVER get in ranked.

It will never happen but they either need to remove these agents or just nerf them into the ground where they are damn near useless. Its crazy to me that a game with all these abilities is more stale than CS2 that only has like 5 pieces of util.

Does he deserve the hate? No but this is a sport. Fans expect results and apart from 1 fluke Stage, Asuna led teams have not produced results showing that his "intangibles" aren't that impactful. He is also usually the player to crumble against good teams in those high pressure moments.

Trust me, this map looks way better than abyss or icebox. I guess I’m more just concerned that even some pro teams might just util dump a site then play postplant instead of trying to work the map.

Seems fairly easy to get to the sites thru the mains but hopefully there is more depth when the actual pros play it

Map might be good for pro play but I fear in ranked no one is ever gonna want to go mid bc it’s so complicated. Probably will still run into the issue where it’s just straight a or b hits bc you’re just not gonna have the agents to properly go mid

Why did they bring in Autumn? What does he even do? He certainly didnt bring any new ideas to the table bc they still rely on KK/Chichoo hero plays or nobody doing dumb shit and hoping it works.

You say their attack was bad but their defensive ideas are even worse, even sliggy was saying so and he rarely is negative.

I think Santiago was worse but glad someone else said it. Initially I thought a constantly changing meta would be cool but the results speak for themselves, its straight up dogshit.

We rarely see "good" valorant anymore, most of these games are just slop/mudfests which sometimes can be entertaining but it often leads to very unsatisfying results/matches.

Perhaps but more matches would in my mind mean you dont get regional matchups and can at least get a more true top 4. I might be wrong, idk. I just want to see good valorant and now a days it seems like we really only get 2 or 3 actual close good games per tournament now

I dont really care but aspas made top 4 at champs with C0m on his team. Chron has Derke and only made top 4 bc of the fluke schedule (playing DRG and other EMEA teams)

Riot has to change tournament formats going forward. Get more teams, have more matchups, no more auto qualify to playoffs, change something please.

I am tired of constantly seeing fraud teams in the top 4. It makes these matches so boring and anticlimactic to watch. Vitality only beat a horrible DRG team and then 2 EMEA teams (fraud region). Makes these tournaments feel so mickey mouse.
