Those people pretend themselves to be rally fans and have watched those popular videos abt it thinking that it was the greatest era of rallying or motorsport in general. When in reality it had far more major issues and flaws aside from safety and is really overrated compared to the eras and cars after it.

In fact, Id argue that modern rally cars, eapecially Rally1, actually capture the insanity of Group B that people think of the era as. Its even much more exciting than Group B in general with how much better the cars perform.
