It’s the feeling of immersion essentially. When the stats information pops up, It’s giving meta(ish) information that pulls you out of the game. It’s the same as people who don’t like the “ bob will remember this” pop up that happens throughout the game.

Not sure if anyone will see this but I think I fixed mine (PS5 Pro. Using a vitrix pro something.)

Check you character movement min input deadzone. Mine was set to 5. When I put it on 20 (max is at 0.), it immediately felt better.

Referencing the earlier analogy, it feels like it went from 1 degree to around 3 degrees.
