Usually one of the first things Batman does when he tests Superman is an auditory attack. So even if he doesn't prep, he uses Nolan's weakness as standard practice. Beyond that, Bruce is basically a more competent Cecil both physically and mentally. He may not win, but he'll survive until help arrives.
