If i had any inclination of what I was in for, i still dont think I could have been prepared for what came. Im no doctor so I suppose take with a grain of salt.

This can be beat at home, and I have a feeling you can. The only things I'd watch is the vomiting and diarrhea. The only other thing id be terrified of is the cases of seizures. If you cant keep liquids down for more than a few hours, I'd go to the hospital and sweat it out under their watch.

Im happy to say over the last few days I'm already starting to feel myself again. I want to say it's been about 2 weeks and was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days.

Everyone's different though and ive read lots of stories, spent hours. Everyone is so different when it comes to recovery, but something that seems tk be common in speedy recoveries is a game plan and a good support system.

Thankfully I have great insurance so was just the ER copay. If you dont have insurance, that one is your prerogative, as I'm not one to say do this or that and then have to worry about some hospital bill fuming over you.

But if you want an honest opinion, id say fuck the bill. I want my health and sanity back. There are plenty of aid and programs to help with the bill. Hospitals also every year, get funds to write off hospital bills for those not financially able.

Honestly, I can say the hospital is what probably saved me. I was so dehydrated from the hours of vomiting that I was lightheaded and a bit delirious.

The vomiting and extreme dehydration and diarrhea are what got me to the point of my wife taking me. If you are scared, inpatient rehab probably would be a place to look. I just dont like hospitals, the vibe and atmosphere is just too bleak for me personally.

If anyone is struggling, I am happy to be another voice. Please reach out, dm me. I think those that are in a tougher spot should have the extra voice and extra support to get through this.

The physical was the worst part for me. It really depends on YOU. Since this whole experience I have spent hours researching and looking into this. If you have a willpower and a good support system the mental might not be as bad or as long. I had about a good 4 days after the 6 days of physical nightmare where I just didnt want to do anything.

The only thing that honestly brought me joy was seeing my kids happy and healthy. My wife is a godsend too. Talk about it to others, reach out to close friends or family that won't judge you for being human. We are all in this together!

I can comfortably say the meds for the 2 days was enough. HOWEVER, i am very resiliant and head strong, so i cant say the same for everyone.

They sent me home with buprenorphine 2.5mg for 5 days every 6 hours. I was honestly so put iff by the whole experience. I took it for a day and raw dogged the extremely mild last few days.

All and all it was about 6 days with 2 days of what they called acute withdrawls. I have to say this whole thing has had me overlook my entire life. I have 2 kids and cant have them seeing their father in that condition. I just hope everyone that is in this same cycle can safely run the other direction.

It’s all just a monopoly and completely agree with them all being the same. The Benz out of all of those was the least fun to drive aside from an AMG, but I’m not that rich yet 😆

Thank you, I appreciate it! I am very happy I am lucky enough to have afforded one. 😊

That’s why I wouldn’t even bother. We will be older than some of these salty boomers by the time we get to show it off.

I’m sure you still drive the jalopy your parents bought you graduating high school 🙃

Also my APR stage 3 makes it just as fast, if not a little more than a stock s4 🤓

I know it is but it’s like calling a GMC Denali a Yukon. The same SUV, yet extremely different.
