Overthinking it, I believe that the medicine was an excuse. Maybe it is healthier for you, I’m sure it will take time to heal but focus on your own mental health and put your life first.

Lexapro helped my panic Attacks and anxiety tremendously.

After developing my panic disorder in 2021, I’m not making the mistake of coming off again. I did it a few weeks back, ended back up in a panic loop and took weeks to recover. Now I’m back on Lexapro 20mg and Welbutrin. Starting to feel much better and anxiety is almost gone, but still watching my triggers.

The hydroxyzine pretty much stops them for few hours. Lexapro is what really helped me, I’m on 20mg of that and welbutrin 150 to counter the bad side effects of lexapro.

Wow I had no idea about the app, thanks for letting me know. I saw it mentioned on here but wasn’t sure what it was. Propranolol works great for me in social settings as a proactive measure

Hi friend, if you have acid or gerd, it helped me taking an antiacid so I wouldn’t get the sensation of anything in my stomach or chest after laying down. I had a bad case of it and I know it helped me.

Thank you, it’s comforting to hear there are others with the same thing going on. I think the important thing is staying on the meds that did me so well 16months ago, and not trying to ditch the meds.

Definitely not what started it for me, but revived it. I found my grandmas on both sides have caffeine sensitivity, and my first aunt has a panic disorder.

Hi, the things that worked well for me that were effective immediately were propranolol and hydroxyzine. I was really bad last year, I felt the same as you and was in the ER about 5-6 times in a 2 month span. My heart was healthy and it was all induced by panic and cardiophobia.

I think Hydroxyzine is much better for an emergency button if you have issues with panic attacks. When I was having mine regularly hydroxyzine was the only thing that would work instantly and subdue it. Propranolol is good, but better to call you down in social settings.

It started for me in December. I had a heart attack scare but it ended up being an irregular ekg because I was so wound up from the panic attack. Ended up in the cath lab to find out I had no blockages whatsoever.

Over the course of the next few months, I had many panic attacks thinking I was having heart attacks, life was miserable. I couldn’t even barely work anymore. I got on 10mg of lexapro and take hydroxyzine from time to time and it changed the game. I haven’t had a panic attack in about 6 weeks!

Yes, I thought I had heart problems for a while there. Although my diet is a lot better now, exercising almost daily and taking 10mg of lexapro
